Microplane Gourmet Series Cheese Grater with Soft Touch Handle (Extra Coarse, Black)

This Microplane is miles better than any cheap box grater I've used. It's ultra sharp and makes quick work of any cheese I've thrown at it. It's dishwasher safe so clean up is a breeze. I have been using it for some time now and I am super happy with the quality and performance. If you're struggling with a dull grater, this is worth the upgrade.

Oh so worth the money I used it for the first time to shred some Italian parmesan cheese. I have been struggling with my old multi shredder. This one shreds the hard cheese easily still have to go slowly to be safe. And US made, I can see that tis one will hold up for a very long time.

Great for slicing cheese, chocolate, etc. When a shredder just won't do!I really like microblade products!

Microplane always makes good quality products, and this grater is right in line. It’s lightweight, super sharp, cleans easily and has a comfortable non-slip grip. The protective cover is necessary since the blades are so sharp. Pop in the dishwasher and cleanup is simple. The only issue is the cover could fit a little better, it slides off pretty easily in a drawer. Otherwise, it’s a very good product for grating small amounts of cheese, veg, chocolate, whatever. It would be a little tiresome for big jobs, in which case I’d suggest a mandoline or food processor.

An excellent handheld cheese grater! Sharp, shreds cheese easily and quickly and just the right size for the hand. I feel the price is fair for the quality and I have experienced no safety issues whatsoever. You just need to use common sense and be careful around yourself and children. I highly recommend, my second set purchased. Five solid star rating.!

This grater is a tool. I mean, it's an actual tool - it's got heft, it's constructed solidly, it's super-sharp... Works great.
