Highly recommended..... I would definitely buy this again!
This is a fantastic tool that is easy to use. It takes 8 minutes for the water to heat to the appropriate level. It is small and compact making it perfect for our RV. I love knowing things are very clean despite living with pets. It works well using our RV power system and I have no concerns about it leaking. The unit is so well sealed, I can tip it over and it does not leak. We did order the carrying bag which is very convenient and keeps things organized. The accessory kit is convenient though I do wish there was another metal scrub head included. The one that was included was consumed with my first big project, but I was cleaning commercial grout tile which had not been done for years. It did a great job cleaning it, though, so I will be buying a couple of replacement heads. I was also able to use this on my cabinets, the RV toilet, sinks, etc.. It did a fantastic job on the floors, too! I am thrilled with this and definitely would recommend it.

Hamburger Helped me with combating mystery flea infestation.
I’ve been battling a flea problem for months. Spent $300 on my own methods and $600 on a professional extermination. Maybe $200 more on other prevention items. The issue was so extreme that my home was unlivable and was told to find other (temporary) living options until this was resolved… For 3 months, my home had many extermination attempts and the fleas should be starved and eradicated due to no other living mammal being in the home. I’ve tried so many things, even freezing them out (a/c on high, open windows with freezing temps outside..) Not sure how this all happened in the first place considering my cat is regularly treated and mostly outdoors (yard treated as well). I’ve lived in my home for 3 years and never had an issue until months ago. The infestation seemed to be under control, but I still found fleas after everything. So far, my method below has been working well.Shipping took a while longer than expected, but when it arrived, I had some hope this would do the trick. I’ve done a lot of research on temperature killing points and the what might break the “glue” substance that binds bug eggs to surfaces. A lot of mixed information, I’d say it’s safe for anything above 250F. Dupray steamer gets to 275F and there’s another product they have that reaches 320F. Because of this, I gained some confidence that this is the one tool that would provide me with the upper hand at combating the fleas. While using this steamer, I noticed fleas jumping onto me (to try and survive?). Put me in a panic but reminded myself that this is doing its job. Using the white microfiber cloth provided was great because I could see how many fleas and other bugs this was killing. Even after killing my back and scrubbing the floors with PineSol, sweat, and tears, Dupray steam cleaner removed much more dirt.Being slightly physically disabled, deep cleaning is already a hassle, but this makes it so much easier with the extension arms. I do think a way to view water levels would be helpful and a temperature gauge would be a great feature on this product. Regardless the functions are durable. For anyone combating bugs (in this order): bag up all bedding and clothing to wash -dryer on high for about 10-20 minutes to kill any fleas. Wash everything- Premo brand laundry additive, soak clothing and bedding with this for about 15 minutes before washing and then wash with more of the additive. Helps keep the bugs away and off bedding and clothing. Vacuum everything -A good quality Shark vacuum (anything with a HEPA filter that intakes debris and doesn’t push it back out). Make sure to keep the vacuum running for about 10 minutes AFTER use to make sure the fleas or bug are really in the canister. Empty canister outside your home and tie the bag tightly after. Spray- Black Flag flea and tick spray. It’s potent so I recommend wearing a mask while spraying and leaving the home for a while. I sprayed literally everything. Wondercide has been recommended too for a less toxic and more everyday preventative, but I have not tried it yet. Vacuum again after about 24 hours of the spray odor has left the home. Just giving it enough time to set in.. STEAM -This Dupray steam cleaner, on everything. Use the white microfiber cloth provided so you could see what it’s all picking up or just anything white that will collect debris. Right after steaming sofas or other fabric types of furniture, use the Bisslle Hydrosteam upholstery cleaner while dirt is still “broken up” from the Dupray steamer. The Bissell does not at all have as hot of steam as the Dupray, but it’ll help get the furniture extra clean and pick up any dirt or bugs that the steamer could not (all about the suction on the Bissell). And DON’T get complacent. Depending on your level of infestation, repeat anywhere from daily to once a week until you feel you are completely bug/flea free.Pets: I was treating my cat with a super simple generic topical from the local feed store and Adam’s brand Flea shampoo. After finding out about this whole flea ordeal, I did more research and started to treat my cat with a combo of an oral and a topical -Capstar & Cheristin at the same time. But please speak to your vet first! My cat is a chonk (Maine Coon) and I wanted to tackle this from all angles, but safely. On top of all the bug issues this has helped with, it really does the deepest clean without any toxins or chemicals.

Perfect steam cleaner for the entire house
I am a classic overthinker, so I've been researching a steam cleaner for a couple years now. I already had a steam mop that works great, but I wanted a steam cleaner that could be used for other areas. Real talk: I wanted it mainly for the bathroom. I live in a house full of boys. Very tall boys, aiming at a relatively small area far below. I don't want to be indelicate—turn away now if you have a weak stomach!—but I need something to blast pee out of those toilet hinges. I clean the bathroom three times every week (like I said, boys, and I have just one bathroom), but the smell still lingered, and I was positive the problem was those hinges. Let me tell you, sister: as soon as I opened the box... well, I'm getting ahead of myself. Let's start at the beginning. The Neat steamer is a small cube, very minimalist and, well, neat. The 16-foot-long cord (that's long, you guys!) wraps around its holder hidden from view on the bottom of the unit. I worried that I would have to wait to wrap the cord and put the cleaner away until it cooled off and was emptied, but no, I have flipped the cube over while still hot and full with no problems. The carrying handle is recessed into the top of the cube, and yes, it's light enough to actually carry around, but you likely won't need to. It also has casters that roll very well on my hard floors and a berber carpet. And the accessories! My goodness, so many accessories. I thought I really only wanted and needed the nozzle to concentrate the steam, but I'm finding I'm using all of them. I love the nylon brushes for my grout. I also used them for my cabinet doors and the grubby corners a kid grabs to keep himself upright as he barrels around the house at breakneck speed. The window squeegee makes quick work of the gazillion dog-nose smudges (but put a towel down at the bottom to catch all the water that will drip down). If your windows are particularly tall, using one or both of the included extension wand sections really increase your reach. My couch cushions (again, look away, you with weak stomachs) were beginning to take on a slight boy-butt odor, with maybe a suggestion of boy feet, after several weekends-long marathon group gaming sessions... the corner tool with the included bonnet took care of that quickly. I *think* I could do it even faster using the floor tool and a cloth.Speaking of the floor tool, I thought I would not use it, since I have a perfectly wonderful steam mop already, but I was wrong. I love that I can use the included microfiber mop cloths or *any* cloth I want, simply by clipping it on. Perfect! And the steam from the Neat doesn't reach the same temperature as my steam mop does, which sounds like a downside, but what I had not realized before I bought the steam mop was that the super-high-temp steam would ruin the finish on my vinyl flooring. Had I bought the Neat years ago, my vinyl would still be shiny, so let that be a cautionary tale for you.But back to the bathroom. I believe it would be worth the cost of the Neat steamer for the bathroom alone. Because of the timing of the delivery, I used it just *after* I'd cleaned the bathroom (and I should tell you, I am a very thorough cleaner). Yup, those toilet seat hinges were the problem. I used the nozzle to concentrate the steam, and it blew through those hinges and allowed me to wipe up the offending particles with a paper towel. While I was there, I went ahead and used one of the nylon brushes to clean the edges where the tub trim meets the floor and gave the tops of the baseboards a good wipe, too. I hadn't thought of it until just that moment, but I steamed the inside of the wastebasket. It looked clean beforehand, but I like the idea that I killed any germs that may have been lingering. One thing in the bathroom that I always seem to forget is cleaning the lightbulbs. Dust and hair (how the heck does dog hair keep getting into a room the dogs are not allowed to enter??) and the steam that results from long showers combine to leave an almost concrete-like substance on baseboards, tops of medicine cabinets and window trim, etc., and on the lightbulbs. It was amazing how quickly the steam melted it right off those neglected bulbs.Maybe the best feature of all is the trigger lock. My hands would be stiff claws if I had to keep the trigger squeezed the entire time I was cleaning! For quick jobs, I just pull the trigger and let it go, but for longer tasks like mopping the floor, the trigger lock is invaluable.I have very few complaints, and they aren't even really complaints. In my extensive research, I saw several people complain that some water shoots out before the steam begins. Yes, there will likely be some water in your hose or attachment that will come out ahead of the steam, but since you know it'll happen, it's a problem easily solved by starting with the nozzle pointed into the sink or even just at a cloth or towel. One valid point I'd seen made and have observed myself is that there is no water level indicator. When you're out of water, the steam stops with no warning. It's a slight annoyance to have to fill the reservoir and wait the 5 or 8 minutes for it to heat and pressure to build, but it's not an insurmountable problem. I would have like to have an accessories storage included, but I just slide the cardboard box they came in into the closet beside the Neat unit (you can see in the picture how this fits even in my ancient house's tiny linen closet). Which brings up my last "complaint": the hose does not detach from the unit, and there is no "holster" for storing the hose. Again, not a deal breaker. I just coil the hose and hope for the best.In summary, I highly recommend the Dupray Neat steam cleaner.
