Don’t even consider
Frankly, this is a piece of junk takes you forever to get the screw out to put the batteries in and then it’s hard to put the batteries in work for a couple minutes then stop working

Use three batteries.
I originally told Amazon that the Bingo Spinner Wand didn't work. Fortunately, the seller responded. I was putting in 2 batteries when the wand needed three. I didn't see one of the compartments where the third battery should be place. So thank you to Courtney who let me know. It works fine and looks terrific when it spins. Now I only need to win a bingo.
