I'll take a walk on the wild side 💕
📚BOOK REVIEW📚Wild Side - @authorelsiesilver"Does love start off as obsession? Because that’s what I am. Obsessed with my wife""When I become Wild Side, everything falls into place."I absolutely adored this book. It was such a heartwarming story of grief, loss, healing and love. I loved every second of this story and think this is my favourite in the series. When Tabitha's sister dies, she finds herself looking after nephew Milo. She's barely getting by as she struggles to find a balance with running her restaurant and parenthood. But when her guardianship is questioned by Rhys, she will not take it lying down. They agree to marry in the best interests of Milo.Tabitha is a feisty character but she's vulnerable deep down as she navigates through her grief. She has some excellent verbal sparring with Rhys and some of her comebacks were so comical. Rhys was supportive but had a troublesome past and really struggled with letting people in. He too was vulnerable but reading about them learning to trust and navigate their issues was truly beautiful.Their journey together was beautiful, honest, raw, heartbreaking and heartwarming all at once. This book was slow burn at its best and I couldn't put it down. I was rooting for them and wanted so much for them to get their happy ever after. I went through all the emotions with this book and I think that's a testament to how well this book was written. I loved it and catching up with the characters from the previous book was a real treat also.I liked how the book tackled addition and didn't gloss over it but it was dealt with in a tasteful way but the emotions and consequences that came as a result was very honest. The book contains the following tropes so I would definitely read this if you enjoy these;💚Single guardian💚Small town romance💚Marriage of convenience💚Enemies to lovers💚Found FamilyA really great read and if you listen on audio, you get the amazing @jasonclarkereads and @ms_brentmoor as narrators and they did an amazing job bringing these characters to life. They were excellent.

Men written by Elsie Silver has me in a chokehold
Men written by Elsie Silver will forever have me in a chokehold. And Wild Side is no exception. I devoured this book in a single sitting, completely unable to put it down. Rhys Dupris is the definition of a grump with a golden heart—the kind of man who keeps his guard up but loves fiercely underneath, and yes, he had me swooning from page one.Tabitha, our fierce and complex black cat heroine, was everything. Sharp, independent, and emotionally guarded, she was the perfect match to Rhys’s broody, protective energy. Their banter? Top. Notch. Every interaction had sparks flying and hearts melting. The chemistry, the slow burn, and the emotional undercurrent hit all the right notes. While not my absolute favorite in the series, it’s another solid, heartfelt, and addictive addition from Elsie Silver.

The best one yet!!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🌶️🌶️.5The queen has done it again. Every time I read a new Elsie book I say this is the best yet, but this book is definitely the best yet!! This book is on par with Heartless for me. I absolutely loved this book. I read this book in one sitting today I could NOT put it downTabitha is looking after her nephew Milo when her sister dies and his guardianship is questioned. Tabitha will do anything to keep her nephew, even marrying the man she hates so that he can stay in the country and not take her nephew back to Florida.I absolutely loved these two, their character development and emotional growth? Absolutely perfect. The way they both supported each other through their traumas and found love in each other? C so. The chemistry between Tabitha and Rhyswas amazing and made the slow burn so worth it c. These two have become some of my favourites MC's of Elsie's, their journey was raw, real and honest and it made such a beautiful read.TROPES💚Marriage of convenience💚Single guardian💚Enemies to lovers💚Small town romance

Perfect little family
I loved this book. Rhys is one hot , swoony , grumpy , mysterious guy and i just think he's perfection. Tabby is so sweet , strong and sassy, I just love her. Little Milo is such a little cutie and they make the perfect little family. I loved every second of being back in Rose Hill and seeing some familiar faces and it's got me excited for what's next from this author.

Rhys and Tabby’s story is a brilliant instalment in the Rose Hill series!
✨ 4.5⭐ | 🌶️ 3.5/5💫 Tropes:💍 Marriage of Convenience🖤 Grumpy x Sassy👶 Guardianship Struggle🏡 Small Town Romance🔐 Found FamilyRhys and Tabby’s story is a brilliant instalment in the Rose Hill series. Rhys is gruff, mysterious, and quietly swoony — especially in how he interacts with Milo, which gave me all the heart-eye feels. Tabby’s sass and sharpness create such a fun dynamic, and the banter between them had me grinning. What stood out the most, though, was how grief was handled. It was messy, imperfect, and real — and it gave so much depth to their relationship. Also, without spoiling anything, I loved Rhys’s job reveal and the glimpse into that side of his life — it added a really unique twist to the story. And of course, catching up with past couples just made it that much more special.

Disappointed
I’ve read every single Elsie silver book and enjoyed most with the odd one not being as good as the rest of the series. I really loved wild love and wild eyes and was looking forward to this. Tabitha is quite unlikeable, the ending seemed a bit like they couldn’t be bothered to make it decent and there’s clearly another book which I’m not sure about reading.
