This appears to be a very high-quality XLR cable. The cable includes a few nice extras, too.Included in the box are two (2) hook-and-loop cable ties, a storage bag, and a package of colored rubber cable markers.The cable appears to be made from high-quality materials, and the connectors appear to be good quality as well. Assembly (soldering) looks to be done fairly well (I have seen better, but I have also seen much worse!), and I like the fact that the shield has a piece of heat-shrink tubing added to help protect against shorting.The cable shielding appears to be spiral wound (vs. woven). Not a big deal for me, but this matters to some people. The cable markers are easy to change, and there are eight (8) different colors to choose from.I look forward to getting many years of service out of this cable in my home studio.

I have a home recording studio so any line noises unacceptable in my recording environment. So of course the first thing I tested with this cable was to see if any floor noise increased and I can happily say this capable performed 100% clean with no added line noise.The quality of the insulation is superb and I really love the metal coating on the XLR connectors. It's a nice high quality frosted look and gives it a bit of professional appearance as well. Connection and disconnection of the cable was smooth with no resistance.They also included colored rings that are specifically designed to fit on this particular XLR connector, which help you identify which cable you're working with. This is extremely helpful when you're working with multiple cables.This company definitely builds a first class product that is on a professional level.

Well made. XLR ends appear to be properly terminated. Insulation has an acceptable amount of memory. Overall this is a good choice of cable for daily use.

Overall: Recommended! Nice cables quality here with terrific interconnects. No issues at all using this cable at 30 feet which is tricky. The cable management is easier with a nice build quality cable like this. I was impressed by the finish and the design of the whole cable it is better than most and gives a great value for the price point. The brand is known for awesome cases but they have retained their quality control here. Cheers!

Nice quality cable. Well coiled in the package so there's no funky kinks from zip ties bundling things together like other brands do. The length is great with no perceptible signal loss or phantom power issues. The XLR connectors are firm, easily connect and disconnect and there are no soldering issues that I can see.Honestly, XLR cables are just a commodity item these days, with most generally falling into the acceptable range of quality, but it's nice to see that these Gator branded cables are trustworthy.Buy with confidence!

Good quality, flexible cable that I'm currently using for microphones. This is Gator's new mid-tier cable, and the build quality appears to be very good (e.g., solder connections inside the connectors are very clean). A nice feature of this cable is the ability to swap between 8 different color rings on each connector (making it easier to track cables in your overall setup without having to use tape/labels). It also comes with a soft storage bag. Has become one of my favorite "go to" XLR cables.

I got the 30' cable, which was a length I didn't already have for some reason. I've used it a couple of times now, as a mic cable with an SM58, and as a balanced main out to a powered speaker. It worked flawlessly and sounds great for both uses. The cable itself and the connectors scream quality, unlike most of the "generic" cables in my home studio. Highly recommended.
