Coat Me Nail Polish Absolute Nail Lock, Top Coat / Base Coat

this is the best nail polish it gives an elegant shine to my nails that im in love with it also it does not dry in the container itself unlike others absolutely go for it

The product arrived a day earlier then the estimated delivery date. So one star for thatThe base coat is really good. It almost works like a smoothing base coat. Takes only like 2 minutes to dry and provides great longevity to your nail polish. So 2 stars for thatThe top coat is the worst top coat I have ever tried in my entire nail art career! It doesn't dry AT ALL. Like I waited for 20 minutes and it was still sticky. So 0 stars for that and overall 3 starsFinal Verdict: Just buy the base coat, it will cost you less moneyIMPORTANT UPDATE: I added some amount of Gala of london Nail polish thinner (not remover) into this top coat and i guess it added some of the ingredients that weren't present but now it is actually drying. its no longer sticky.

Top coat is not that quick dry as the Lakme or juice top coats are. Also that base coat is not at all pigmented or too thick which I like alot .But this thing never dries . I tried drying it for 2 hours straights still kinda gooey. How ridiculous can a top coat be .and base coat is so weird u put nail paint over it .paint starts running to side. It's horrendous to apply and takes forever to dry .

I am beyond pleasantly shocked how good this works! Granted this is my first time purchasing top coat and base coat but OMG!! I have recently started doing nail art so from a lot of Youtube videos I got to know that having these 2 extends the life of a manicure. But now I know, nail art or not, this is pure magic!! I have attached pictures of my green colored nails (with base and top coats) and you can really compare it with my pastel pink/off white looking nails in the other pics. After putting base coat and top coat, there was a beautiful shine to my gel finish polish. In fact, it gives a gel like shine to even my regular polish coats! One week since I used both and there is no chipping at all. The top coat does tend to...pull inwards. I understood later that the solution to this is to cap my nails with top coat as well, so that after 3-4 days the top coat doesn't pull itself and the polish inwards, leaving the nail edges bare, so beware of that. I am now a regular customer of these 2 :) The base coat is so lightly colored that I can even wear it for a nude colored look on its own!

The top coat is absolutely awful. It dulls the colour and shine the way a matte top coat would, but it's not a true matte either. It just has a terrible finish.I swatched it over several nail polish shades before writing it off and it doesn't look good over anything. It's especially bad over metallics, shimmers, and glitter polishes, but it makes creme polishes look weird too. There are no winners here.The base coat is a little more functional but it takes ages to dry properly and I'm wearing it now and it just doesn't feel that comfortable on my nails at all. It's like I'm sort of... Aware of my nails, constantly. I feel like I have a thin layer of plaster on them. Even a layer of regular old clear polish does the job way better.

The base coat was alright but dried out pretty quickly even though I sealed the bottle properly, then it turned into a thick blob of polish when I used a thinner in the base coat.The top coat was really bad, it probably had acetone in it, it dulled any glitter polish/ holographic polish underneath, and left white foggy patches instead of a nice shine.

Very nice. But it's shown in the image that the bottle is round, but what I recieved was square. Anyway it worked very well. The base coat is so good and has a smooth brush for easy application. The top coat added a touch to my nail in the last. Both of them dry so quickly.. happy with the product
