I simply loved this product, because I believe in organic products as they are the purest and safest.When you use it you know this even as a layman that the product is so genuine and has not undergone any kind of chemical refining, bleaching or de-odorising processes.I have been using this coconut oil since almost two years now. It is an integral element in my daily life and without which I cannot thinking of surviving anymore.The benefits of using such a pure product are mindboggling. I never faced any side effects of this oil since the manufacturer is a trusted name.I have simply bid goodbye to all the lotions creams and moisturizers which are loaded with chemicals for good. It really feels good by not being dependent on chemicals anymore. To improve my metabolism i have just started consuming a tsp of this oil every morning making a cup of bullet coffee.I use it as a makeup remover, cooking oil, moisturizer for hair and skin and also consume daily. It has increased my metabolic rate, I feel more energized and active and my hair seems more shiny and my skin feels hydrated.There are so many benefits of using a good quality coconut oil. For it's price and for it being extra virgin oil, I think it's a must buy. Totally worth it. The glass bottle is also very good but it's wide mouth makes it difficult to pour, so either use a spoon or empty it in a different bottle. Good product.

Possibly the closest one can get to pure coconut oil. I have been consuming it every morning in my coffee, using it on my skin and hair and I noticed the difference when compared to other 'virgin, cold pressed' oils. This is streets ahead. The texture is great and the outcome matches the quality of the product. In my earlier review I had written, "Until I find a better product, I will continue to subscribe to Hathmic." Well recently, I went to a 'teli' (oil mill) with dried coconut kernels and got extracted raw, unfiltered, unadulterated, pure coconut oil. This happened to be the very first time I got coconut oil extracted in large quantities as I had switched to using coconut oil for cooking purposes. After allowing the raw extract to settle we decided to compare this with Hathmic. We noticed the extract at the bottom of the Hathmic jar had the same color, texture and taste as the raw, original oil we milled. Overall, we found Hathmic is the closest you can get to pure oil. It does contain additives to clear the 'very bleak' color of raw oil but that's about it. I am told some manufacturers use anything from Glucon D to solidified sugar syrup besides other unwarranted chemicals. The distinct coconut smell and taste are a great plus but upon regular consumption for over 4 months I can assure you it is not coconut essence. This is undoubtedly overpriced but given how difficult it is to get pure coconut oil in the market, not to mention the effort in getting large quantities extracted in a metro where an oil mill may be unheard of , you must list this mandatorily in your 'subscribe and save' basket.

This oil is very good for cooking and is also very healthy for the body. Good for directly applying on the skin.

When I initially started using it , it was a standout product. The flavour, scent, taste all seemed to be better than the similar products. But lately both the product and the way it is delivered have been on a downhill path. When earlier one got the impression that the manufacturer (or may be seller?) were proud of their product and were trying to carve out a niche, now it feels like another run of the mill product. Earlier: 1. The scent was mild and delicate and so was the flavour; now it smells like coconut hair oil. The colour seems also to have changed from a clear transparent to a thick yellow. Now, maybe this is all a wrong/mistaken impression on my part but it doesn't help that (see point 2) 2. It used to come in an impeccable packaging with hardly a drop outside but now ... Well consider the one I just opened a few minutes ago. It was packed in just one layer of plastic/bubble wrap. The oil is spilling all over the bottle,. the wrap and even inside the outer big box that it came in. It is a miracle that the bottle is intact (why would they roughly place a delicate glass bottle with other products is beyond me) but the seal isn't. After carefully taking the bottle out, I think I have found the culprit. Let alone being tightly sealed the lid was loose and was probably responsible for the oil spilling all over the place. And now I am sitting here staring at the thick yellow fluid inside the unsealed bottle and wondering whether it is a real Hathmic product or a fake one. And this is not the first time this has happened too. Way to turn a potentially beautiful product into and awful product/experience.
