Good Price. Like That It Is Also Waterproof. Has Many Features For Clear Photos And Videos.
Upgraded 4K to 8k version. Yeah, I can seen some of the improvements in photo and video quality. But understand that it comes at a price in memory space. Have the ability to download photos or videos to an external storage source. Like an SSD or have extra SD cards if you are out taking a lot of photos or videos. I like that I can use this camera out in the rain. It's small enough to use on a gimbal. What I don't really like is that there is no way to be able to connect an external power source or download photos or videos off the camera when it's on a gimbal. Because the SD card and USB-C connection is under the camera and not accessible when it's on the gimbal.**I did find out that I could loosen the camera seating and then move the camera off to one side and get access to the SD card and USB-C connector. Then after I do what I need to do, I can reposition the camera and balance it again. A guess it's a small price to pay. No biggy.

Not safe for water
I took this camera to the Florida keys and took it into the ocean one time. The camera is not water tight. Also immediately the camera was filled with water and the screen is now messed up. Prior to going in the water I made sure the door to sd card was closed tightly. This camera isn’t water tight for 2 feet of water.

It's ok, but not great.
It's ok, as long as you don't need crisp images or zoom. This camera HAS NO ZOOM. What it has is a digital zoom which takes a normal picture, crops it and stretches it. That is not a zoom. You are better off doing that on your computer as the stretching software in the camera is worthless. There are several file sizes 48mp to 70mp and the image quality is exactly the same on all of them from all the testing I have done.It is easy to use and for the price not a bad deal, Just don't expect too much out of the camera. The front facing display is very nice for selfie images. My 10 year old camera takes far better images at 16mp than this one does at 48mp or even 70mp. The different file sizes are due to the amount of compression used to save the image. So larger mp means larger file size and less compression. So if you can afford the space, use the 70mp mode to reduce the compression and thus reduce the pixelization. It does well in the rain and under water.I am attaching 4 images, these were taken in 48mp, 64mp and 70mp modes. The 4th is just in case Amazon re-compresses in the hope to display all three versions in a single image showing the detail around the palm leaves at the same general area. These were taken from about 30 feet away with auto-focus from the same seated location. Hope it is helpful.Again, not a bad camera but not spectacular either. Decent for the money.

Ok for the money!
Worth the money! Low cost but surprisingly good jpeg photos. Doesn't like low light conditions, yields a very noisy image in dark areas. Lowest photo pixel count is 48 megapixels but actual resolution is far below that, more like 16 megapixels. The larger counts are acquired by interpolating the images. The lens appears to be fixed focus with a reasonable depth of focus, but has a macro mode for close work. This is a small, pocket size camera but is rather heavy for its size. The battery is not replaceable nor removable and charges with a usb type "C" connector. The builtin flash is a very bright LED. The camera control buttons are all water sealed and are "black on black" making their functions difficult to read except in brightly lit conditions. The instruction manual is adequate. The jpeg quality is ok and no other format is offered. The camera default settings from the factory are about as good as it gets but there is a 'settings' mode whereby a few settings can be altered. I used it to set the date and time and play with the alternate resolution settings.

Poorly designed, broke right away
Purchased in Oct of 2024, tested it underwater in the spa and it worked great. Put it away for vacation in May of 2025, tested it again packed it away, flew to Fiji for vacation and when I pulled the camera out the cover for the charge port was broken. Cheap little piece of plastic had broken off and camera was completely useless for me on my trip. Guess you get what you pay for and now it's too far out past purchase date to return.
