Great battery, just one word of caution. Im surprised no one else mentioned this. The battery i received was maybe a bit thinner, or more dense than the OG battery, and because of this, i noticed that it jostled around a bit. I didnt really mind at first, but i eventually dropped my vita one day (not a big drop) and the battery jostled around enough to unseat the connector a bit, and it ended up not powering back on. I did, however, come up with a solution. I reseated the actual connector, and put a thin piece of foam between the battery and the back shell. This worked perfectly, and now theres 0 movement when moving it around. I also dropped it from roughly 10 feet onto a mattress, and I had 0 issues with the battery disconnecting or anything. So yeah, great battery, just know you may need a bit of foam or paper to get a perfect fit in your vita 2000.

Edit: I meant right, not "left" lol. My mistake. After charging to full and leaving it on stand by for a good while, it holds up the charge well! Not only that playtime on games like DJ Max, Gravity Rush, PSO2, and even Akiba's Trip 2 gave me a much longer game session (with volume up) than the original ever pushed out. It is well worth the investment! OG: Delivered safely and already charged up (not 100%). The battery on the left is the original vita slim bat that I've removed and installation is easy once you've opened the vita up. I can't say for sure of the battery life as I haven't used and played the vita but will update on the quality it has and life until first charge. The battery itself fits inside the casing and functions like it should without fail. Comparing the new battery to the original battery, I like how the original battery looks and wished it was the same but the new one is good. Its worth to buy an upgrade battery for your vita if you're going to play for hours or wanting to sell after fixing it up.

My Vita has not been used for years, so naturally the battery died completely. I purchased this battery, which I believe has 2x the capacity, and installed same day. Charged it up and now its running great. I have had it on for a while downloading games and its still full. Easy to install, and works like it should.

First off, these batteries are not what they claim for their capacity rating so don't get these thinking they will do better than an actual OEM battery. False advertising at its best. I received this battery and installed it in my vita, the battery was dead but had enough power to give me an indication light on the vita telling my battery was dead. Plugged in the charger, and it doesn't charge. So, this battery isn't worth your time. Ifixit literally sells OEM batteries for 14.99 on their website. I was going to request a refund, but they require a return, so I'm not going to waste any more of my money by sending it to them for a 15 dollar product. Don't buy it, just go to ifixit.

This is a replacement battery for one that was recalled. It has functioned well so far with no issues.
