Gourmet Tomato Powder All Natural by It's Delish (1 Oz)

This was the best price per 1 pound unit that I could find on Amazon. It took a while to be delivered but it came when they said it would so surprise there. The tomato powder is strong it tastes great. I don’t use a lot of it when cooking. I have made a light tomato juice using it at 1 part tomato powder 6 parts water a paste using 1 part tomato powder and 2.5 parts water. A sauce using 1 part powder and 4 parts water. I wanted to see how far I could stretch it. It may be different for other people. I’m a chef by profession I hate most prepackaged foods so I used it in a recipe I made up for my dry storage Mexican style rice soup. 1/2 cup dehydrated black beans, 1/2 dehydrated red beans, 1/4 cup dehydrated carrots, 1/4 cup dehydrated celery, 1/3 cup dehydrated sweet corn, 1 Tablespoon dehydrated onions 2 Tablespoons tomato powder 2 package of true lime powder 1.5 Tablespoons of my homemade Sassan powder ( 1 part paprika 1 part garlic powder 1 part salt 1 part ground coriander and 1 part ground cumin) 1/4 teaspoon of Tajin and 3/4 cup instant rice and 1/2 a knorr celontro bullion cube. All cooked with 8 cups of water to rehydrate everything adding the instant rice in last few minutes of cooking leaving a very tasty vegan tortilla soup alternative great for backing or long term food storage or if you want something fast and easy. The tomato flavor was there because this product is strong. It dose have a sour asidic taste to it as you would expect tomato paste to have I like that as a flavoring compound in curry no need to add plain yogurt to my saag paneer to get that tart sour flavor you need in order to make things taste right. The only part I don’t like is the price it’s expensive, and that it came in a very tight plastic bag I had to repacked the powder in different containers and the humidity in my kitchen is getting through the containers and making the powder clump. Because the powder dose cost a lot I won’t use it for everything I will not make a tomato sauce using it because that would be one very costly sauce. As I said I’m a chef we are not rich I won’t be making a meal in a jar using 1 cup of tomato powder. Instead I’ll use it in recipes just requireing a little tomato paste sauce or juice. I do recommend this product it is in no way a disappointment.

Great product . I've used it now for several things . But I love adding it to sauce 4 tablespoons and 12 ounces water and it doubles your spaghetti sauce . Nice fresh taste . I simple add dried spices to it a shake the jar. I put it in anything that calls for tomato sauce . Goes a long way also . Works out a little cheap then caned sauce .

What a great product! I've been so busy searching for new ways to use my tomato powder. So far, I've used it to boost tomato flavor in a casserole, I've made tomato soup from it and used it instead of canned tomato paste. This is my first time ordering this product, but now I don't want to ever be without it again.

Up to this point I’ve only used vogue and another similar product, and this tomato powder for soup is so superior to the others there’s no comparison. It even makes a passable tomato cream soup with milk.

You sent me this tomato powder by mistake months ago , I love to cook so I keep it and used it to make many dishes pop with tomato flavor, I’m in love with it now , ordered more and will always keep in my pantry.. so maybe be a great idea to put samples of your products in orders.. love you mixed dry veg too I use them every day.. I don’t have to chop up when my hands are bad.. 🤗🤗 thanks for making life easier in kitchen..

This is a very nice product. The flavor is top quality. This will be so handy to have on hand for use in many recipes. It was cheaper than if I had dehydrated the tomatoes myself. Thank you.

I got this a while back, but I wanted to "test drive" it before reviewing. I *really* like this - my favorite use are adding some into stews/soups as a seasoning; combining it with other ingredients to make a chip-dip; and adding it to my pasta sauce as a thickener, since I make my sauce from ground no-salt canned tomatoes, and this tomato powder adds body without altering the tomato flavor. It's also just a pretty color, and smells good, so it's just pleasant to use. This is something I'll definitely order again and keep on hand :)
