Zulay 4-in-1 Milk Frother and Steamer - Automatic Hot and Cold Foam Maker with Auto Shut Off & Temperature Control for Coffee, Latte, Cappuccino, Hot Chocolate - Black

I've used handheld and machine frother before, but this one makes it so easy in my morning routine to make sure I have a delicious cup of coffee. I start with espresso or dark roast, a shot of creamer, a shot of half and half. Pour to the mid line for froth, and in a minute or two, you have perfect froth and perfect hot milk (drinkable instantly, no need to wait depending on your sensitivity to hot liquids). This frother is temperamental as other frothers are with the type of milk you use, and it also differs on which farms whole milk. I've found lesser whole milks will not froth well at all, and some will give you too much with very little leftover milk. This is not the fault of the machine, but of the fat content in the milk, as all whole milks are most definitely not created equal. Allow a minute for the foam to set with the top off if you want stiffer foam, pour immediately for a looser foam. I've also made individual hot chocolate in it and it works very well ( I have not used chocolate pieces but only powdered cocoa, sugar, vanilla, pinch of salt, and whole milk). This came out super hot as it allows for time for all ingredients to mix properly. Top line measures to 1 cup of milk, perfect for a serving of hot cocoa. This thing has been used daily in my home, is very quick to clean, and quick to dry. I feel I already got my money's worth, and for the price, it's very well worth it.

I bought this milk steamer/frother to replace an old CBTL frother. I thought I loved the old one, until I got this one!! This device has four different options (hot foam/froth, cold foam/froth, hot steamed milk, and steamed milk and chocolate). Each of the settings only take a few minutes, and it runs so quietly that you can barely hear it!! (My old one was loud). On the chocolate setting, you can add chocolate chips or chopped pieces of chocolate and they are melted and blended into the smoothest drinks. It is easy to clean and even has "hooks" under the lid to store the whisk when not in use. This is one of my favorite purchases. I have never been disappointed by this brand (Zulay Kitchens). And they have excellent, prompt customer service (I emailed a question and received a timely, thoughtful reply). I highly recommend this milk steamer/frother.

Awesome! Good non stick surface. Cleans super easy. Dense froth quick. Hot chocolate mode mixes slower- so it can hold more volume and heats hotter temp than froth which is perfect (most frothers dont do that!) that was a big selling point for me. Well thought out and designed machine i love it using it daily. Would buy another if this one dies down the road. Extremely happy with it. Feels sturdy to.

It seemed like a great price and was sleek and attractive in my kitchen. When I first got it, I realized it did not seem to froth milk as well as my prior machine had, I was using nonfat milk, so I thought that was the cause, but having tried everything from NF to whole to 1/2&1/2, almond and oat mylks I can say The one I got at least did not froth milk well… It created like a very big bubbly, kind of foam that quickly shrinks back down to liquid milk. I returned it, and I am in search of something better.

Love the compact size that I can travel with this machine. Frother works GREAT! First cup of frothed unsweetened almond milk came out fluffy, thick, hot and nice. Great value for money.

Value for money

Worked very well in the beginning. Not the most economical design to clean easily but I really took care keeping it clean and dry. My milk no longer froths at all. Very disappointing as this is the 4th product I've tried. Update: Zulay customer service has been wonderful to deal with. The whisk part has bent and they are sending me spares.

It only does about 8 oz to simply warm up, this will make things more difficult for when I make hot chocolate for my 3 person family during the holidays. Thankfully it only takes 2 minutes to warm up. It doesn’t get crazy hot which I appreciate but this is going to be great for making a quick latte at home for myself. Easy to clean if you have a spray head on your faucet, other than that I would assume you’d damage the button/bottom connection.
