Now after using five years I am writing this review. It massages my scalp and it is not hard. There is a bouncy feeling. I love it.

Very good quality product

I previously bought a round brush of the same make and was so happy with it that I wanted to buy a paddle brush by Vega as well. Unfortunately this brush is not the best quality. The wood is rough and cheap and the area with the bristles is not securely attached to the back. Would not recommend this product.
