Great bass strings!
Great strings! They last, and stay punchy from beginning to end. Very clean, responsive strings.

Excellent Strings
These strings really hold up well. Clear sound and they do stay in tune for longer than any other strings I have tried. I haven't had a flat-spotting issue with them either. I've been playing bass since the '80's, for reference.

Decent alternative to Dunlop SBN
So my last few sets of Dunlop Super Bright Nickels has underwhelmed me. I used to love those strings but they seem to have changed the texture, sound and the E strings have been dying quick. The SIT Foundations are not as low tension but they aren’t high tension either. I like the Dunlop SBN for playing over the bridge pickup on a Jazz Bass but they feel a little to loose playing over the neck pickup. The slightly more tension of the SIT’s make them feel more comfortable playing over the neck pickup, in fact these would be my go to string for a round-wound P Bass tone. The only thing that is keeping them from 5 stars is that the E is dying quicker than the rest of the set. I kinda screwed up on the install and it may have been the way I cut the string. I’m going to try another set and will adjust my rating accordingly. The Foundations have their own unique feel and tone. I’m glad in gave them a chance because the more I play them the more I appreciate their unique character.

Oh yeah
Got these cause of reviews from a youtube channel. My favorite strings now. Not ruff at all

Great sound, but too brittle
I like the way these sound and feel. But they break too easily. I bought two sets so I'd have a backup, just in case. This was a good thing as I broke both E strings. The first set broke on stage during a performance and the 2nd one broke during a rehearsal. Both had been on my bass for less than a month when they broke. I'm a finger style player with 20+ years on bass. I've never had any brand of strings that consistently break, until now.

Great Strings
Intall them on a '77 Carlo Robelli 4 string bass... it sounds amazing!

Nice Tone and Harmonics
I’ve been a big fan of Dunlop MM SS Super Brights, but I wanted to try something else for a change. I really like these. They have a warm tone with nice lows and clear highs. The further you work up the neck, the harmonics add a wonderful musicality.
