This tank is the perfect size for a nice shrimp and snail tank. It’s a good build quality and doesn’t deform or leak at all. It comes with a filter and plants but I choose to use my own filter I had and use real plants since I was going for a more natural look. But the filter it comes with works well and the fake plants they give you are nice too. The lid construction is nice as well with the built in lights that is perfect to use for a normal fish tank setup with 3 color modes is a nice touch as well. Overall this is a perfect tank for anyone wanting to make a cute shrimp tank as it is only 2.2 gallon tank the shrimp love it!

I should've read the reviews first. Yes it's a nice well made tank but do not put a beta in this tank. As soon as I put my beta who I've had for 2 years, he immediately stopped eating. The suction is way too strong for a small fish and the air bubble feature probably didn't help. He was healthy and beautiful and started going down hill. I turned the air bubbles off and tried to put plants close the suction gaps but no matter what i did he just wouldn't eat or swim around and when he did it pushed him around and scared him. He was in this tank for 2 weeks and died yesterday. I just don't think this tank is safe for a beta. I didn't change his food, I kept his water at temp and clean filters the same way for 2 years so I really don't think it was something I did. I dont understand what happened but I feel horrible and can't recommend this tank for a beta.

This fish tank is a decent size.to keep snails or shrimp. I personally would not use it for anything other than a small female better as they dont have long tails that can get caught up in the filter. The only thing it's missing is a heater. But it has a built in filter and also a temperature gage. This os great value for money as a temperature gage and a a light can cost over 50 dollars minimum. The light is also bright and can change color as well. Overall it's a great fish tank.

Let’s be clear. I got everything they promised that would come from this product. Everything worked as intended. There is nothing wrong with this product. By all means, I got what I paid for.However, I got this tank because I was new to the fish keeping hobby. I got this believing it would make the hobby easy to get into. That was wrong.First of all, the tank size. They needed to slap the tank size on the box itself because I stuff to find it on the actual product. I found it by going back to the Amazon page. This product is a 2.2 gallon tank. I only blame myself for not getting into the product details but basically you can only have 1-2 small fish. I mean this still ain’t a bad product but this cost about 100 usd, keep in mind you can get a 10 gallon tank and have up to 10 small fish for about 15-30 usd at a petco or petsmart. If you don’t know why this is important, putting too much fish will stress them out, causing them to kill each other… yeah… that was traumatic… if you value your kid’s innocence, please memorize this golden rule of fish keeping when buying tanks and fish.The filter is a death trap for small fish. PERIOD. From the golden rule about fish keeping, an inch of fish per gallon, combined with this tank barely suitable for 1-2 fish; the filter opening that sucks up water is too wide, sucking up the small fish you can only put in this product. You can stuff it up to prevent this but then that makes this filter useless. If you’re new to the hobby, PLEASE BUY A SPONGE FILTER! It’s cost effective and gets the job down with minimal harm to your fish. Tho you need an air pump but your going to buy that anyways if you plan to keep your fish alive. I know the two in one, filter and air pump is a great selling point and the air pump that comes from this product does work as intended but it’s attached to a death trap making it a risk to your fish.The LED, temperature tracker, and humidifier all work as intended. However, other than the LED, the temperature tracker and the humidifier are useless. The temperature tracker is neat and all, no problems at surface level, but becomes redundant when you need to buy a water heater which most products have their own built in thermometer. As for the humidifier, basically nonexistent if you don’t have an aromatherapy juice ready. Also, keep in mind that if that aromatherapy juice has harmful chemicals, your fish is as good as dead.Conclusion: this product is a 2.2 gallons tank that only allows for small fish. The filter is a death trap for small fish. The humidifier is a death sentence if said aromatherapy juice contains chemicals.My opinion: from what I read in these product reviews, man parents are buying them for their kids. For the love of domesticating fish, just take your kid to a pet store! You’re going to buy a fish there anyways so just pick what you need there! Get a tank, a sponge filter, and a water heater. Already that is far cheaper and has more value than this product!Final thoughts: I rated this a 5 star because I got everything as advertised. I got what I paid for, thinking that this was an easy start for a hobby I knew nothing about until after I got the product. It was my own fault and I regretted making this purchase. I’m taking accountability now by information others what I have learned after purchasing this product. Don’t make the same mistakes as me.
