Does this hold the hair in place like the NYX clear gel?

It definitely holds in place. I've never tried the clear gel so I can't compare it.

My hair is white. Suggestions for best eyebrow color?

I've had fully gray hair for several years, and with the exception of a few wild hairs in my left brow, my brows are still a naturally dark brown. I'm buying this (probably chocolate or espresso, since blonde will be way too light) to disguise and control those gray hairs. My brows are now thinning some on the outer ends, so I do fill in a little there with a matching pencil. And, by the way, I don't look weird. So no, not everyone with gray hair must have gray brows. This product was nearly dry. very frustrating since the color was great. is there anything i can do to correct the dryness?

Maybe add a few drops of eye drops? I do that when my mascara starts to dry out and it works great to make it creamy again without changing the way it works. And it’s safe for the eyes. Just add a few at a time and pump the brush to mix until you like the consistency.
