Great phone for the hard of hearing or a person with poor eyesight.
This phone was purchased for my 92 year old mother in law who was having difficulty understanding callers on her existing Panasonic cordless phone with answering machine. The handset has large buttons and a volume boost feature, both of which she liked. Another feature she likes it the ability to slow down the speech speed when listening to voice messages - it works very well.I've always had good success with Panasonic phones and this one is no exception. It's not cheap, but it does what it claims to do and has made life much easier for my elderly mother in law.Highly recommended for the intended purpose.

Works As Promised
We are just entering senior ages and one of us has a hearing problem. Having an amplified phone system with all of the options it offers is a big help in our family. I really like the "beefy" handle. It's actually pretty heavy so I'll start using speaker phone, but it is really easy to hang onto. All of our other cordless systems have had really flimsy handsets, so I will figure out this extra weight to a positive!

Phone charger never worked. getting a replacement is made very difficult by Panasonic.
Panasonic provides no phone number for customer service. So I will have to mail the phone charger in to get it repaired/replaced. The should just send me a new charger it probably is a $2 item. Further, I had to establish a warranty account which was long and cumbersome to set up.

The boost feature is a winner to help with older adults who can’t quite hear well enough on the phone.
