A great taste!!
It was a childhood delight back then as it is now. The only issue I had was having to Google the food product to learn what my dad was sharing with me when I was a child. I never forgot its bitter-sweet flavor, and I loved it.

Brown and mushy. Don't waste your money.
This is not yellow, BROWN radish made me sad... I was so excited to get this yellow pickled radish and make some rolls, but when I saw it I was surprised that it was dark not yellow... it's a very dark brown color and has a weird texture... very mushy. Normally fresh yellow radish is yellow and crunchy. This radish is of horrible quality. And I am not going to try it to taste, too scared. And it's not made in Japan, it is made in China.

Just what I wanted
Great product, more than I expected. The texture and taste are as I recalled having before. I moved to an area without an Asian market near that carried daicon radish. For several years now I've looked around for them. Finally on a whim I thought to check Amazon and found these. I was not disappointed at all. Some reviews stated texture or color issues, but mine were exactly what I expected from my previous experience wot similar products years ago.

Pretty good
Not as crunchy as I would like. It’s a little on the chewy side. But if you don’t have an Asian store near you like me. This works just fine.

Not the same
I was excited to splurge on this as it was my favorite snack while living in South Korea. However, it left me very disappointed (especially for the price and time it took to be delivered after ordering it). I don't know if it was the fault of the shipping company or not as it clearly states to keep refrigerated. But it was shipped on Sunday and I didn't get it until Wednesday not only unrefrigerated, but also very warm as it is summer. The texture is rubbery almost to the point of being like a bad pickle whereas it should be crisp with a slight snap/crack when biting into it. It's also not as strong flavored as the ones in South Korea (even the convenience store ones), and again I'm not sure if it's the product or how it was delivered to me. I was hoping for a small taste of home with my gimbap, but I guess I'll have to try to find diakon radish and make my own next time. 😭

Deliciously Crisp
These are my go-to for gimbap! They are perfectly packaged, are crisp and just-right when it comes to a sour bite. They come whole, so you can choose how you use them; you can cut them in half lengthwise and then slice them into thin half-moons for a side-dish, or into long strips for gimbap. It's up to you!You will get your money worth with these!

Different color and smell
I have ordered this product several times and have been generally been satisfied with the taste and texture. However this shipment is close to disgusting. The color is not the usual yellow but almost gold, brown and darker inside with a rancid smell. I immediately refrigerate this product when received. It was not left outside once delivered. However it looks to be either old (expiration date is July 2024) not stored properly or both. The texture should be crunchy and somewhat crisp…which this one is almost mushy. I am not sure if this order came from the same vendor as the other ones I received. That may be a reason for the difference in quality.Very disappointed.

Tasty and crunchy
I've purchased this product many many times. It comes well packed. It is tasty, not too salty and crunchy. I cut up and add to kimchi or slice and package with some of the juices and eat for a bite sized snack. It's on the pricey side but more convenient than trying to find an asian store near me. Enjoy
