My favorite cup. Leak proof keeps ice & drinks cold.

LOVE this mug!! It's bigger than most, fits in the car's cup holder, and the seal is amazing! The flip lid stays open when you drink and doesn't fall on your nose. This mug keeps my coffee hot until I'm done with it. I don't sip on coffee all day long, so I haven't tested out actually how long it keeps it hot, I just know it works for me. I love it so much I bought one for a friend at work... and bought me another one in a different color. This mug was a great purchase.

I will admit I struggled initially with the lid and even more so with the flip opening and the whole lock/unlock feature. I'm old school so I'm just used to the magnetic slide. But once I got everything figured out, I was hooked. I love this mug! I use this for the days I have to go into the office and I'm usually juggling my laptop bag, purse, etc while carrying my coffee so spilling is just a given. But not with this mug. It keeps my coffee hot and I couldn't be happier with this purchase. Definitely worth a try!!

The lid is a little difficult to drink from but it is definitely leak proof when closed. Kept my drink very cold for hours

This is beautiful loved it for the color, that said the lid won't come off. I know you gotta turn and pull up but it's stuck. I generally like bruemate but this is the second one that's done this. I do love my shaker bottle same color.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I wanted something leak proof, that works as well as the cheap $10 Bubba cups I get from Walmart.Ice retention:I thought it would work as well as other cups do.I decided to splurge on this cup because I wanted something that wouldn't leak if it got knocked over. I'm rather clumsy and I am around kids often enough my drinks get knocked over a lot. It works magnificently for that feature. I absolutely love that part of it, and the color. Gorgeous.However, the lid was very difficult to get off and on, at times. The cover over the spout had to be locked in place just so I could turn it, and pop the lid off. The more I used it, it got easier, but was still very difficult.My issue was with the drinking area itself. It was shaped weird and made it difficult to get a drink easily. It just wasn't comfortable to drink out of. I also had issues with it keeping my drinks cold. Not to say they weren't, they did stay cold, but the other cups I used I could put ice in them and it wouldn't melt until the next day, sometimes longer, depending on where I was. But if I put one in the fridge over night, the ice would still be perfect the next day. This brumate, the ice melted in a matter of hours. Not completely, but more than half would be gone, even if I had it in the fridge over night. I was just expecting more from it, considering how much more expensive it is over the other cups I use, which are far better for my needs, except they aren't spill proof. So, I will just have to keep looking. I'm very sorry for this review, but I'm just being honest. I can't comment on how it is for hot drinks, as I never used it for that.

Doesn’t hold Ice more than 8 hrs. Love the cup though
