1/2" Bottle Filler (15" length)

This bottle filler is great for filling stand glass bottles. I also beleive it would work ofr 22 oz bottles as well. It 1/2 diameter fits the normal 12 oz bottle. The valve no the end works great and is easily taken apart for cleaning. the only tidbit I will say is that it seems like it does leave a bit too much head space. I normally fill my bottles a more than this device does but I think the final product will be fine. The amount of beer and time I saved using this device makes that a non issue.

Works OK, leaks a smig. It works just fine for now. Use a towel under the safe side. Yea I know! I played with the nipple to see if it would stop! Its a slow drip, so no big deal on my part! If go cheap! This is what you can get! Never used a bottle wand before! Like I said its fine for now.

I used this to fill about 15 1L bottles from a recent brew. The internal valve was easy to control and did not clog when some sediment snuck through my siphon. Flow rate is easy to control by varying the height of the bottle below the carboy, and the valve shuts easily when pulled away from the bottom of the bottle.It's harder to start a siphon with this installed, because the fill valve airtight. You may need a second person to hold it in a bottle (to hold the fill valve open) while pumping an auto-siphon. You can try holding it with a finger as well, but that's a recipe for spraying yourself.

This bottle filler is 13 inches long not 15 inches.Be sure you have a filler valve that is large enough for a 1/2 inch tube or this filler won't give you much if any advantage over a 3/8 inch filler.

Had a smaller diameter bottle filler and it just took forever to fill up wine bottles. Changing to this larger diameter filler (and associated larger diameter hose, sold separately) has made filling quite a bit faster if not twice as fast. This will drip/leak from the tip a little, but I don't think any of them anywhere within this price range completely seal. You won't lose more than a couple drops though.

without a clamp, this leaked where the hose met the filler so had to push the filler rod farther into the hose and it would no longer reach the bottom of the bottle. I used a zip tie to clamp the hose so I could fill bottles.

I am a hobby wine maker but had lost my original bottle filler in moving...it makes bottling a lot easier.
