This radio works very well without a doubt great recieve and transmit.
This radio is great value for the money it has an amazing receive and is very capable of working some great DX. I have worked Australia and most of Europe with this very compact rig. A couple months in and I really love the radio it gets great reports all the time.

If you know how to move the jumper ..you get 21-30 .. you get a great sounding and clean radio. If you buy a president washington and an anytone 6666-pro. You are set. ✌️

DEAD KEY ON 11 METERS IS ONLY 20 WATT. ON 10 METERS IT'S 35 WATT. THE MODULATION HAD 0 SWING OR PEP. GUESS I GOT A REJECT. BOUGHT MARCH 29TH. 2025UPDATE:4/3/2025 MADE SEVERAL LOCAL CONTACTS AND THE RIG'S MODULATION WAS GRAVELLY/ UNCLEAR IN SOUND ALL SAID. NOT THE MIC GAIN OR VARIABLE WATT SETTINGS. TRIED BOTH. RETURNING THE RADIO.

It works
I made 2 contacts the first half hour out of the box on 38 lsb one to florida and the other to alabama. I am in northern california and have a temporary indoor antenna. Signal report was 1-3 s units and clear audio . 2 buttons open up the cb band . *Update. The radio has been excellent the only issue is sometimes the channel knob skips over a channel so it looks like anytone needs to beef up the channel knob on the radio. I get compliments on how loud and clear the audio is. I have paired it with a 102" whip and a moxon 2 element beam at 20'. I've made contacts with almost every state in the US besides Alaska (this has alot to do with propogation) as well as Argentina,Brazil, Australia, France ,UK and Canada and Mexico. This has alot to do with conditions and it being near the top of the solar cycle of course but several of the contacts If it wasnt for the loud audio from this radio I wouldnt have been heard. I,ve used almost everyday since I bought it so it must have hundreds of hours of use if not over 1000.

With a dedicated coax, metal mounting post, and Maco V58 CB Base Antenna, all I get is static.
It has been modified (as permitted) to be a CB, as I have a Yaesu 991a as my ham radio, with it's own 62' tower. The radio setting are easy to use, and it's a nice system, just wish I could actually use it.
