I used this product to line the inside of a straw hat that was too big for me. I have a smaller head and it's hard to find hats in my size. It's holding up well and I just wish my hat would hold up as long as it does. See photo.

Works well and definitely made my hat fit better. There was plenty of tape. I ended up doing 2 layers on mine since I bought a hat at a rodeo and it was a one size hat. I recommend it. It does what it's meant to do.

It was quite satisfactory

For my needs, the foam used is high quality and a perfect width for the internal hat bands of the hats I needed it for. Thought similar to weather stripping, this material is more dense and seemingly more durable. It was very easy to use; just cut to the desired length, dry fit, then when you have it placed where you want it, peel the backing to stick it to the hat. Would definitely buy again.

This worked great for me! I was able to adjust three hats and still have some left over. My suggestion is to fold down the sweat band and stick the tape to the inside of the band, rather than sticking it to the hat material. This is especially important for a felt hat where the material might be damaged if you wanted to remove the tape. (Two of the hats that I adjusted are wool felt crushers.) I can now wear my crushers out in the wind, and I can wear my flat cap in my open roadster thanks to the size adjust!
