This is a review of: DE'MUMU Super Stay Pink Lipstick Matte, Long Lasting Lipstick for Women Smudge Proof No Transfer Liquid Lip Gloss, 16H Wearing Lip Makeup (DM26 Baby Pink). I ordered the baby pink variety. This lip gloss is extremely pink. It is exceptionally bright, and the picture on the ad is actually pretty accurate. It almost looks like it glows, it is so pink. Make sure you want something this bright, because on someone with a lighter skin tone, it can make the rest of the skin look washed out. This lip gloss goes on smoothly and stays tacky for about 10 minutes or so before it dries. Even after drying, there is just a little bit of a tacky feel to the lip gloss. It is also a bit drying, so stay hydrated and use chap stick before applying. Longevity: This lip gloss lasted about 4 hours, but more or less rubbed off after a meal. A slight pink tint was still left, but, for the most part, it was gone after eating. It did not come off after drinking water. The lip gloss does crack a bit, and shows the chapped parts of the lips. After a couple of hours, it starts to look less smooth, and look a little cracked. It only looks perfect for maybe 2 hours or so. Make sure to moisturize the lips before using, and realize that you will have to re-apply at least a couple of times during the day.

I think this color is bizarre but this very matte Lipstick does all it claims to do. It goes on like paint, stays on, doesn't smudge, dries to a very matte finish and doesn't come off with soap and water. I had to use an oil based makeup remover to get it off my own lips. The bizarre part is the look of it on, the color is startling and if your skin is even moderately dark it really stands out. It looks like dried pepto bismol on your lips and if that's the look you are going for this is the stuff to buy. It's the consistency of paint, not any lipgloss I've ever seen and the dried matte finish, which is very matte, no gloss at all, adds to the bizarre effect. Very theatrical. I'm rating it 5 stars because I think it's going for something unusual and they succeeded.

I don’t love the color of this, it’s definitely paler than I was expecting. I wouldn’t call it a shade of nude, more like a pale beige. That being said, this has some staying power. I do like that it didn’t come off at all until I used a makeup remover wipe, and then it came off extremely easily. I’ve had other long-lasting lipsticks in the past that felt like I had to scrub and scrub for hours to remove but this wasn’t one of them. This dries pretty quickly after applying and then it has a very matte finish. It does tend to dry your lips out, so definitely pair with some moisturizer. I really like everything about this except for the color, so I may try my luck again with a different color.

Ordered shade DM16 Danger Kiss and it is Gorgeous! I'm usually not one for matte finish...anything, but this was really beautiful on my lips.Went on smoothly and though my lips are usually quite dry and usually chapped this didn't accentuate the dryness and in fact made my lips look very smooth and didn't make them any drier. Yes, from a matte lipstick!Only problem is that it didn't last long. I have to review the product based on the claim by the vendor that is it long-lasting and sadly it does not live up to that claim. Within/under an hour most of that gorgeous, matte color had worn off. Very sad.But not all hope was lost. I applied it again the next day and added my lip color fixative and it held up great for approximately 4 hours.If you want a truly beautiful matte lipstick and have some fixative, it's a Strong Buy recommendation. Otherwise, look elsewhere.

I recently received the Super Stay Mauve Lipstick Matte, a long-lasting lipstick for women that is smudge-proof and transfer-resistant, boasting 16-hour wear. The color is very deep and truly does not smudge. As an older woman, this lipstick feels a bit bold for my daily use, but I plan to wear it for my daughter's wedding. The mauve color is a perfect match for my dress. Before applying, I put on a little bit of lip balm as recommended to use a moisturizer first. With that pre-step, it doesn't feel dry on my lips. I really do like this product for special occasions, and it has impressed me with its vibrant color.

This does not look like the photo. It's a much lighter pink and does not go on smoothly. It looks awful. I threw it away after trying it out. I would never want to wear this again.

I have some issues, but there are also some good things about it.First is, the color is very bold and very dark, which is important for a black lipstick, I love that. The problem there, though, is that you have to sit with your mouth open letting it dry on or it will not stay on and will fade off. That also brings me to whether or not it is transfer proof, the answer is kind of. It is transfer proof if you sit there with your mouth open for 20 minutes to let it dry on, otherwise it isn't and will get all over everything. Again, though, once it is dry, it is good.It definitely has a smooth, matte finish, though. It also definitely does NOT stay on for up to 16 hours. I ate some cheese and drank some ginger ale thru a straw and now I am missing the corners of my lipstick.Definitely major room for improvement.

I actually liked the way it went on - you do need to apply a little gloss so it doesn't look too dry BUT it stays on and doesn't drift onto the skin (not transferring). May be slightly to drying for some...but I added a gloss on top. However - this specific color literally is the same color as a neutral foundation - best way to describe is it looks like I applied foundation to my entire face and lips....so it isn't something I'd wear. I would mix it with a darker color to lighten it.Get a color that you'd be ok if it wasn't an exact match.
