Healthy grouping of plants!
The plants arrived nicely packaged along with their planting medium, plant pot, plant description sheet, care sheet, potting diagram, and contact information regarding any additional questions that may come up.i have planted the plants with the included material, per instructions and diagram and 3 hours later the plants have their stems holding up the fly trap portion, to me this is a quick positive response to acclimate to their new environment. Great value for the kind of plants. their size were nice and easy to work with and arrange. appearance wise they look really strong and healthy with good roots and proper hydration and condition of their stems and trap portion. the bundle of shipped plants had an appropriate amount of moisture in their container for shipping.

Need's responsibility... Like a pet
I purchased these flytraps back in April. I received 5 separate plants, 2 more than I was expecting. :)This showed Joel was trying to make sure that I got my money's worth, and honestly I got more. They all came healthy, were easy to plant into the netted pot and moss. I used a second small plastic pot for the other 2 plants.Got Distilled Water from Shoprite (Will find distilled water in the laundry detergent/cleaning isle of most stores) and filled up 2 small plastic containers 1/4 of the pot size.Put it under my desk lamp. Bad idea.... as it was not enough for both of the pots. So I put it next to my window..... it was good but they only got light from one side, and my windows adsorb the sunlight slightly. Some traps were turning white... which i believe was from lack of sunlight or too much time in water.A week later I put the plants outside. The plants were getting much better again, The water evaporates much quicker but its worth the sunlight.I ended up forgetting to check on the water levels one day and about 3 of the plants dried out completed and shriveled up. The other 2 were still alive but barely.I ended up going to home depot and bought a bag of peat moss, as the moss that came with this dried out way too quickly in the sun. The peat moss is known to hold a lot of water and won't dry out for days. (pro tip: put some peat moss in a bucket and mix with the distilled water slowly.... and kneed it as if it were pizza dough... else it will repel the water.)I ripped some of the leaves off of the dead plants and planted 3 of those leaves in styrofoam cups full of soaking wet peat moss. And planted the bulbs after cutting off the other small leaves. Also planted the other 2 living plants. Now, 2 months later, the plants are doing amazing... some of the traps are the size of a quarter or bigger. I was able to get all 3 of the dead plants back to life and healthy.I also noticed some green stems shooting out from the 5 separate cups i planted the leaves in. So that means I may have about 10 plants in total in as little of 2 months. only time will tell.Best tip: leave out 3 to 4 empty clean buckets to collect rain water. after it rains collect the water into an empty distilled water gallon to use for the plants. But have an extra gallon at all times.

Didn't work out for me :(
I read a lot of reviews where other people had positive experiences with their plant but I can't say the same with mine. I ordered these FlyTraps along with Succulents and Cactus on Amazon, all at the same time. Everything arrived at my house on the same day as well from the different companies. The plants from the non-related companies arrive already potted and ready to go, the box was labelled live plant of the non-related companies and UPS kept the boxes up right. The plants from JoelsCarnivorousPlants arrived in plastic bags with damp paper towels in the plastic bags along with the plants without any indication that I could see on the box indicating it was a live plant, could be because it was just in a plastic bag. I quickly took them out and followed the instructions to pot them. I had my distilled water ready to go like the instructions said. I waited a few days and only a few heads of the plant died which I assumed was a possibility was it traveled to sunny Arizona. After a few more days the other heads of my plant opened up ready for their yummy live meal. Flies were instantly attracted to them and started crawling all over them but never in the mouths of my plants. After a few more days of patiences eventually flies went in the little mouths and it was amazing to watch the mouths close up to eat their meal. More than 4 days passed and the mouths of the plants stayed closed. I researched online and saw that it did take days for the plants to devour their meals so I waited patiently for the plants to open back up. But instead of opening up they died. Each one that ate a fly died within days of eating. I tried clipped off the blacked heads as they appeared but the plant just kept dying until it was all gone. I'm honestly not sure what caused it to die the moment it ate the flies but for me the plant did not personally work out. Others might have different luck. It could be the flies in my state, it could be that it was going to die within a few weeks of showing up anyway because of the delivery, I honestly don't know. Another thing to note was that the moss and plants had a horrific stench which might have been why so many flies were attracted to the plant. I didn't know where to keep the plant as the smell was too much to keep in my bedroom, bathroom, or even kitchen. An awful smell could be something typical that comes along with these plants so be warned it is a possibility.
