As others stated- the box is heavy! There are ALOT of bags but clearly labeled to match instructions. If you’re like me and separate/group blocks at each step it is very logical except #5 - there’s just so many different types it was easier grouping by color. I will agree the colors in the manual are hard to discern for the yellow-orange and browns. However, if you take a moment to actually visualize and look at the box picture you can sort it pretty fast. If anything I’d take 1/2 star for this reason but I only made the mistake once or twice before my brain was good; minor annoyance. Only other negative was towards the end where you frame the back with 1x10 and 1x12 blocks- you absolutely need to make sure you’re really compressing the blocks as you build or it’s a hard fit and will make the image bow. Easily fixed but I almost had a meltdown when I first thought it wasn’t going to snap in place. End product looks great. For a non-L with a higher price point than other off brands I was hesitant but no regrets now at all; was almost identical experience to building L-Starry Night or JMB-Sunflower block paintings. Some have commented about missing pieces; I had so many extras I had to double take I didn’t miss a step. If you like painting building blocks and want a relatively peaceful challenge then this set is a no brainer. I would happily buy more from them. PRO: great end result, challenging but in a good & fun way, unique build- no competitor options. CON: manual instructions can be frustrating with 4 shades of yellows and browns. For an off-brand, (barely) on the “pricier” side. Overall 4.75/5. Build time approx. 2 super casual long evenings while watching movies; highly focused but not a savant, probably 4-6 hours.

This kit is so much fun to put together. The finished piece is sturdy and solid. No glue or excess pressure needed anywhere. The directions are clear, but with any brick build project, carefully sort the pieces. I absolutely love the resulting unique art piece.

The product is a good model of the painting. However, there were missing pieces and there was no way to contact the company to get the missing products. Neither the phone number or email for customer service worked. Further, some of the directions were confusing. Lego will ship replacement parts at no cost and has much better directions.As an addendum. The company followed up on my review and I got my missing piece and they now have a correct email address on the website. They also gave me a partial refund. Very responsive.As I mentioned, the model is very good. Everyone who sees it is impressed. 3D. If you encounter missing pieces there is now a way to get those pieces.

Love the art piece so gifted this for my kid and hoped it had all the pieces. It did not.My kid got to bag #4 and is missing the base pieces needed for bag #5.3 hours in, and this thing is garbage. Can’t even substitute other pieces.Please avoid. Just stick to the Mona Lisa from Lego. Don’t try and scratch the itch for more Lego art. This is not it.

This was great. No missing pieces. The instructions were organized and easy to follow. The only (minor) problem was it's hard sometimes to tell the difference between different shades of blue/green/brown. You have to pay attention. Clutch was good--comparable to "Big L." I haven't tried hanging it on the wall yet but it feels sturdy and like that won't be hard.

I was dubious but this set was great. Pieces fit together, no missing pieces (even lots of extras), and it was a very interesting design. I love the "great painting" sets and this one is terrific. I would definitely recommend for those who love these types of sets.

My husband completed it in three days over Christmas break. Looks awesome.
