I bought this set for my African grey parrots. I didn’t realize that the kit comes with two cards so I bought 2 kits by accident. When I took my birds to the vet for their yearly bloodwork, I had them use a few drops from the test to put on the card to be sent into the lab. Keep in mind you will need to purchase a global stamp for when you mail it in. The lab is not in the US….i can’t remember but I think it was Brazil. The turn around time was really quick. Very happy with this purchase.

I have a quacker which needs gender test. I followed the instruction to collect the feather. Instead of sending to the lab via snail mail, which could be lost, I sent the sample in via Fedex instead. Within 48 hours of delivery, I got the result. Initially I didn't receive it and so I called the lab. The Vet who answered the phone was very friendly. It turns out the result is send both via email and Amazon messaging. Sometimes the email could be lost and Amazon failed to send you the notification. You could go to My Account -> Message Center to look for a message

Took about two and a half weeks from me mailing it to getting my results. I’m from the United States so it had to go over seas. Had my results for my male conures and couldn’t be happier. We cut a nail a little short and used the blood.

After making my bird bleed and traumatized all of us involved. Sent the card in, never received the results. Its been several months now.

So easy!! It does take a bit because of distance but I got results within 4-6 weeks. It was absolutely worth it!

I’m sure it works but it got lost in the mail a month ago and I haven’t got any results. I live in the US so I bought from a company that operates in the US this time which should fix the issue.

I was worried after reading other reviews that people didn’t get their results. I made sure to check my Amazon account and put in the email address on the information so it would not go to spam. I then emailed them because I was losing patience because I had my students asking for the results. They emailed me back that they had just gotten the envelope. Shortly after I got my certification. Very happy with the customer service.
