Slim, sleek and curve following design
Love it, I've used the Headblade ATX for years now and was doubtful about changing but I love the slimmer, sleeker, curve following design of this. Very happy to have made the change.

Great design but could be improved as can customer service
So off the bat I do have to say I had the worst shaving accident I've ever had with any razor I've ever used with this one but it was just a case of not quite being used to it. So I would say it's a very different shaving experience. It doesn't take long to get used to it but just be a bit more careful than I was. Make sure the roller ball is in contact with the skin at all times. I managed to lift it off when shaving the crown area and it literally took of a strip of skin off with it. So once you get that concept to keep the ball in contact with the skin it's fine you won't do what I did. So it is comfortable to use and I would say faster than using my normal gillette razor on my head. I've used it a few times now and quite look forward to using it. I've gotten over the trepidition I had after my accident with it but as I said I now keep the ball in contact with the skin and now my confidence with it is back, I shave my scalp a lot faster than I ever did with my gillette. I have seen some people use it on their face but because of it's design a normal razor beats it there but for the scalp this beats a normal razor. I have sensitive skin so I normally only ever shave going with the grain and try and keep passes to a minimum and I'm satisfied with the result. It can be a bit more difficult to go with the grain on the sides of the head but I've done a few shaves going from front to back the way this is designed to be used and I haven't suffered from any spots or razor burns maybe because I'm using a good quality balm after. So for my negatives. So only a few gripes. One is with the customer service of headblade. So I got the midnight edition and bought some replacement blades. The blades come with a replacement holder but it's a yellow holder to match their standard headblade moto which is black and yellow. I contacted customer service to ask if I can get a black blade holder. They told me they don't sell them on Amazon. That wasn't the question I asked. I asked if I can get them period. So they didn't actually answer MY question and answered another question entirely. I've since googled their main site and it seems you can get black adapaters but it looks like you can only get them from the states. So with the customer service not listening to my question and the fact it's really tricky to remove the blades and get a black replacement adapter for the black midnight editon (Once you figure it out you should be okay but it's not like Gillette where it's idiot proof and you simply push a button. With these you can easily break the adapter or damage the blade or yourself when fitting and removing these blades. That is defintely one part of the design they could improve) those are my only gripes with the product. Oh actually nearly forgot another issue. For some reason the midnight colour option Headblade they charge an extra premium for in the UK (It's a signifcan't premium as well @ 67% increase to the standard black and yellow) but they don't charge that premium in the states. In the states all the colour options are the same prices (So please stop ripping off the UK customers) So it loses another star for that alone. If they improved the way the blade is held (e.g. like Gillette) rather than this seperate adapter system and if they improved their customer service it would have been 5 stars but it falls short 2 stars because of those few things for me.

Disappointed
I was looking forward to trying this out, but didn’t live upto expectations. In hindsight, i’d continue to use one of the 6 blade face razors, far better blades. The holder is a bit of a gimmick in my opinion, not sure why everyone rates so highly.
