I finally found a decent pair of shorts to lift weights. These days, it seems like most gym shorts are big enough to be a set of pajamas. I don't want shorts that hang down to my shins, and I don't want shorts that are baggy enough to smuggle small livestock. On the flip side, I don't want "running" shorts that are short enough to expose my bubble gum when I'm in the squat rack.These shorts are perfect. They're lightweight, breathable, and fit great. They also have two small zipper pockets that are great for holding a phone, gym access card, and key fob. Most importantly, they're appropriately priced for what they are: simple gym shorts.

The material is nice. My husband loved how they fit. So I ordered two more.

I like these shorts. I have 6 that I use for the gym. It's light, it drys quickly and durable. Only issue is the sizing is a bit inconsistent.

Updated at the bottom.I bought these for the gym and yoga because they have a 5-inch inseam and seemed light weight. They are light weight and do have a 5-inch inseam but the overall shorts are way long. The crotch is fairly low and then the 5in inseam starts making a short that's almost to your knees. I have to keep pulling them up to do yoga poses and any kind of squats or whatever requires a bent leg. They're fine for doing housework and some people might wear them as regular "fashion" shorts. . . . which might be their best use.Also, the zippers are mostly terrible. My right pocket takes two hands to open and the left ain't much better.UPDATE:These are terrible gym shorts. I had to take them off to do yoga today and just had my compression shorts on. Two thumbs down!!Couldn’t do any squats or deadlifts in them. Terrible design flaw.

These are pretty cheap but they are ok. At least I am not naked on my run. They are cut a little strangely in that they should have a better way to allow forward leg motion in a run. As they came you can kind of feel some resistance when extending my legs while jogging. But they are thin, have zipper pockets, and are light. Not bad. I've had better but not for less than $15.

i kid you not, these shorts are perfect on! the fit is perfect. the lightweight material is flowy and comfortable when i walk around. the zippered pockets are a nice and convenient feature. I have a waist size of 48 and the 3x actually fit this well. i was very surprised when i tried them on for the first. i didn't think i would like them this much. A+++ LTIFONE

These shorts are great! I bought one pair and liked them so much I ending up buying two more. They are very comfortable, light weight and fit good. I've even used them while swimming and the material dries very quickly. Check the size chart and get a pair for yourself!

On the positive side, my son loves these shorts. Lightweight and the first pair fit great...however, they are not made too well...one leg was longer than the other, enough that you could notice as he was standing up. So I ordered another pair. This pair had the legs even (although the center crotch seam underneath was not aligned), BUT the waist was at least 1.5 inches bigger than the first pair. So he couldn’t wear them. I am waiting for my third pair. We will see...
