Slow-close toilet seat
Fits well, sits well, closes quietly. It does what it is supposed to.

Crevices.
Bottom side is not solid but has exposed vertical stiffeners. This makes cleaning a chore since you have to clean all of the crevices and corners around the stiffeners.

Perfect Fit and Great Slow Close
Of our two bathrooms I already have this unit in one bathroom and when the slow close of the unit in our second bathroom finally gave up the ghost, I replaced it with this unit. This unit by American Standard (AS) is an excellent toilet seat and buying it hear on Amazon was cheaper than buying it in the big box store (which I mistakenly did for our main bathroom).

This was a very nice, sturdy toilet seat. However, I had to send it back because I bought the wrong size. Entirely my fault
