Oramask 813 Stencil Film Roll, 12" x 20ft, Light Blue

Great stencil material. I was using 651 to cut my stencils for painting on wood & someone suggested I give this stencil film a try. Works great, good clean lines. There's a bit of bubbling when it's being cut but it's nothing too extreme.

This stuff works great on most surfaces. It has some trouble sticking to some stained wood. Does not stick well to barn wood that has old paint on it. Sticks incredibly well to prefinished wood, bare wood, laminet, notebooks, glass and cars. Roll did not come with bubbles in it and was easy to use.

The Oracal Oramask was my choice after reading reviews on Amazon and watching a few wood CNC carving videos where some experts recommended the oramask for CNC carving. Well, I must say it works very well. I found that using a felt squeegee ensures a good adhesion between your material and the mask. If you take the time to prep, like using a tack cloth to ensure there is no dust or debris on your material, this stuff works great. For a beginner, it was fairly simple to use and apply to wood. The video and photo are both painted using the oramask. You may see some bleeding on the image thats due to using soft wood and not sealing the carve prior to painting. The Valley Fir was sealed prior to painting, almost no bleeding.

if you are like me the first thing you do is go to the reviews and see if things are legit or not. so here is what ive thought so far. this was great for the price compared to other placed i have looked. i am new to cricut and using my machine to make stencils. im starting due to attempting to make some DIY wedding signs on wood. the first thing i want to mention is yes like the reviews said the roll is pretty tight when you first get it so the first time you use it and lay it down on your mat it does kind of bubble. i was able to scrape it out evenly and did not have to waste any. i feel like it sticks to wood pretty well. so far that is the only material i have used it on to make a full project. i have put my scraps when weeding out the spaces in a little glass cup and it seems to stick to that type of surface pretty well also. i do have to say when using this material make sure the surface you are applying it to is VERY SMOOTH, any bumps and there will be areas that lift. (i learned that the hard way) really the only reason why i didnt give it 5 stars was simply due to the bubble issue when first getting it. its a pain when you are trying to use it and are new to things and have no clue what you are doing.

Wouldn't use any other masking products for my projects. This stuff is fantastic. The only problem ive ever had is Rust-oleum brand paint, and that I blame on their products, thier paints stick to this masking. If using with spray paints I suggest Krylon

I used this as soon as I received it. I have a Cricut and it cut perfectly. The only issue I had was, on tiny lettering, sometimes the inside of the letter did not stay down when I was weeding. I just held down the piece as I was weeding and it stayed. Once I applied the stencil to my project I had no issues. I used to design and teach stenciling and I am old school in how I apply the paint. I used the pounce method and I applied 3 coats. Each project came out perfect. I did not try the "new" method where the paint is just smeared over the stencil so I cannot review how the stencil vinyl works for that method. I highly recommend this product.

Amazing! Although cutting was challenging as it became crinkled when I’d try to place on my oversized mat (12x24), and repositioning was not going to happen. It would bubble a bit ( severely if I tried to reposition). But otherwise, great product!

I bought this stencil vinyl months ago and never had a use for it until today. I just picked up a 3D printer and because I had no idea, I bought a bunch of ABS filament and my printer didn't have the heated bed. I had the filament that wouldn't adhere to the bed and when I used blue masking tape, it warped and pulled the tape up half way through. Since I am waiting on a heating element for the bed, I decided to try the Oracle Stencil vinyl. Wow! Game changer. The ABS filament bonds perfectly to it and it quite strong. With the surface area being applied to the bed and its adhesive strength, it forced the ABS to lay flay until it had cooled and has allowed me to print the cheaper filament.

Vinilo para plantillas de gran calidad. He probado otros y este es el único que me funciona bien. Sólo este vinilo me ha dado buenos resultados sobre madera. Se adhiere bien y si necesitas reposicionarlo se puede hacer sin problema. Sin duda seguiré usándolo.

I use this on wood (raw, stained and painted) and it sticks well and comes off easy when your finished. I suggest sealing your wood first so you don't get and bleeding.
