Fully waterproof natural finish
Bought this to seal a patio which is over a store room, to help stop water getting through to protective sheeting underneath. If you're wanting a shiny wet look finish this isn't it. We didn't want that, we wanted it to look as it did already, but to be waterproof. It was easy to apply and dried very quickly. There is no visual change in look, but we poured some water on it and it just beads up and does not soak in, which is exactly what we wanted. It isn't slippy either, so it is spot on for what we wanted. We followed the instructions to the letter and got any mould off, cleaned it with the Karcher, made sure it was dry and free of any dust or sand, and applied it on a warm but not boiling day. And as they say, it does what it says on the tin. They sell an additive to make their products non slippy, but you do not need to buy it for this, and it says on the tin that the non slip additive 'is not to be used with this product', which I didn't know until I had bought both and read the full instructions. They took the non slip additive back and refunded no problem. The additive is for use if you buy the wet look or other versions, but not with the 'natural finish'.Now we've tried it and it works, we'll be buying some more for the other patio.

Excellent sealer for block paving and stone paving
Quick and easy to apply, doesn't change the colour or appearance. Excellent product have used for the last three years with brilliant results.

Poor product
Very Disappointed – Not the Same Quality as Original TinI am extremely disappointed with this product. Compared to the original tin I purchased, the quality is very poor. I applied this to my patio, which had previously been coated with the original product and looked fantastic – like new. However, after using this new tin, the result is almost non-existent. It looks as though I haven’t applied anything at all. The colour is different, the finish is ineffective, and it’s simply not up to the same standard. This was a complete waste of £40, and I feel misled into thinking I was buying the same product. I would not recommend this newer version at all

Not as good as the previous version of the product
My drive and pathway were originally treated with Ronseal Clear, and the product was really good, since this has now been " Improved " its not as good, It has left a slight residue. It has not really seemed to penetrate into the block or the sand between the blocks. We are going into the Winter and time will tell but I dont think it is as good as was previously supplied

Very good
I used this paving seal after I had pointed and painted my paving area, so far it’s been really good seems a really good quality seal hopefully it does as well in the winter

Maintain the just laid look of your new block drive or path
Easy to apply - I used a 4 inch long bristle brush for sealing newly laid patterned blocks around my tarmac drive. This is about 35 sq metres. Follow instructions on tin. Easy to apply. Two coats. Water sealing effect immediately observable. Dried Matt without colour / shade change - as advertised. Environmentally being water based, it's better than similar products that provide a 'wet' effect finish. It's only a month since it was applied so withheld one star awaiting practical experience of the longevity of the finish. However no reason to expect other than it will last based on the manufacturer's good reputation.

Worked Well With Sprayer
Much easier to apply with a cheap sprayer but work quickly to cover area. It unexpectedly rained after first coat but it still sealed. I applied second coat as instructed and you could see the stone surface wasn’t so absorbent. Indian Sandstone shows slightly more colours after application but without the wet look I don’t like. Main benefit is that it hopefully protects the stone from staining from BBQ fat and drinks. Sandstone looks wet and dark after raining and low areas puddle until dried.
