Lava Lamp, 16.3-inch - Blue/Green

Pile of crap. Worked for just over one month now blows fuses and bulbs DAILY, YES DAILY!I'm not allowed to return it apparently as Amazon and their sellers seem to have made up their own European consumer laws? Like burning money.

The product arrived well packaged and undamaged but my dissapointment comes from it's operation.There seems to be air trapped in the lava for a start, small bubbles and large, this wasn't the norm with the last lamp I had.When cold, during heating an air pocket forms or has formed, below the lava. When the lamp has heated it enough the air escapes and flips the still solid lava and it lands on it side. Naturally the coil is taken with it and heating takes ages.I have run this lamp for many hours and the bubbles are still trapped, I haven't moved it (except when cold) and I can't explain the air pocket below the solid cold lava.I may have a dodgy one, (if thats possible) but if this is the norm for this product, I would avoid this lamp

Does the job but with a few drawbacks. The liquid inside is cloudy which ultimately ruins the look overall.There is a piece of clear plastic around the edge where the bottle meets the metal. The light shines up trough the clear plastic and it just looks ugly.Overall it does the job but there are better options out there.

had 2 since christmas - both units broke within a month of use, new bulbs, still doesnt work. dreadful quality. the 2nd replacement unit failed after 2 weeks use, now Im a couple of weeks out of refund/return deadline - the time i was waiting for new bulbs to arrive only to realise it wasnt a bulb issue. one very disappointed daughter.

Lovely lava lampMy only issue is it’s a little cloudy for this reason I give it a 4 star and the colour is purple not blue as stated but I was happy to receive the purple as that was the colour I wanted

Hard to write a proper review as the item was faulty when delivered. The light worked but the mechanism that makes the volcano erupt does not work.

This was our second one of these units as first was faulty. This one is working great. The lamp is quite big and gives a lively glowing light, very calming. Amazon's service to change over faulty unit was brilliant, no quibble and incredibly fast.

We have had 3 replacements for this item as each one became defective and stopped working after a couple of weeks of use. I really would not recommend these to anyone.
