The Small Form Factor has always been limited. Corsair was always the king in the psu space. To save a few bucks I tried another brand, it starts with Thermal..... the first unit was ear piercingly loud, not coil whine, but like a dog whistle for humans. Replaced it and the second unit did the same. Shelled out the few more bucks for the 2024 Corsair 850W and lost a few watts, but its and its perfect. I know most. if not all power supplies are made by the same 2-3 companies, but whoever Corsair is using, they picked the winner. Also it comes with 3 PCIE cables, unlike a few other brands.

Great SFX PSU! Powering a RX 9070 XT. Has plenty of PCIe power connections. The power ports in this PSU are smaller so they’re easier to work with and allows the PSU to have more connections.

As a longtime Corsair customer, I've come to expect reliable performance, even under heavy use, and excellent warranty service on the rare occasion something goes wrong. I purchased this power supply to replace a unit from another manufacturer in my mini-ATX system, which had been experiencing strange USB issues—including system freezes when connecting an external SSD. Suspecting a faulty 5V rail in the old PSU, I decided to swap it out.After installing the new unit and re-cabling everything (always use the new cables that come with your PSU!), my system is now running flawlessly.
