Wir haben vier Wellis und vier Nymphensittiche zu Hause, und die lieben es, alles Mögliche zu zerkleinern. Wenn man ihnen nicht genügend Spielmaterial gibt, fangen sie auch an, Wände, Tapeten usw. kaputt zu machen. Vor diesem Spielzeug hatten sie, wie vor allem anderen auch, erst mal eine Woche lang Angst und wollten gar nicht in die Nähe kommen. Erst als sich einer getraut hat, waren kurze Zeit später auch die anderen da und haben damit gespielt. Jetzt knabbern sie jeden Tag daran und lieben es. So haben sie ihren Spaß und wir etwas mehr Ruhe, wenn sie beschäftigt sind :).

My Moluccan Cockatoo, she just loves chewing up these wooden toys. She does it when she’s happy and she will do it out of anger instead of biting one of us. Reliable as far as quality, I have bought these over quite a period of time. Perfect for what parrots want to chew. Chewing is necessary to keep their beak filed down. If your pet Parrot isn’t given enough chewing materials and other beak filing material, they will need you to take them to the veterinarian regularly to get their beak filed down. If it’s not done, they can’t eat properly. I highly recommend! But introduce, slowly. First day put close to cage. Second day put on top or side of the cage, Third day put inside cage, to one side (not where food & water is).
