I bought this book for my husband for his second father's day. It was his second gift "from" our son. It is the sweetest story ever, and it made us both become sobbing babies by the end of it. Such a heartwarming story with a really unique illustration style. It is mainly for older children since it isn't a board book, but I know it'll be a favorite book when our baby gets a little bit older.

One of my favorite children's books that I purchased after the birth of my daughter. Took me a few weeks of trying to read it to her every night to get through it dry eyes. I gifted a copy to my brother-in-law when he had his daughter and he has not been able to read it to her from start to finish yet. It's a very touching book.

This is a beautiful book written from Dad's perspective. Perfect for Father's Day or, in our case, a random day of the week to bring a smile to my husbands face. Our 2-year-old gave him the book and they both got to enjoy it together. Even though the book is from Dad to child, it's beautifully written and can be a gift for/from anyone. The illustrations are beautiful and charming. We love it!

Very sweet story. I read it to my daughter it's one of her favorites. It's especially poignant now that she's five and remembers a lot of good things in the book and now that I have to miss her every other week of her life because of her crazy mother. ;)
