Albion Day Neutral Strawberry Plants - Large Berries and High Yields - Bare Root Strawberry Plants from Hand Picked Nursery (10)

I was gifted a beautiful strawberry planter and after a little research, chose these Albion strawberries. I have never tried to grow them before. Most of the plants looked great upon arrival, with two looking weaker. We had torrential rains for at least two weeks right after I planted them and I lost a total of 5 to root rot. The others are big and robust, but are not flowering. I will wait them out this season and maybe try again next year. Mildly disappointed so far, but it's not over 'til it's over.

This product was very disappointing. I ordered the bare root strawberries and received them. Planted them the same day. All the ones I planted have died. I put some in a hydoponic tower and a few of them are still alive. I contacted the seller and he offered to replace half of them if I paid shipping. It was approximately $8. I did not do that because what will make a difference. All of them would probably die also.

Highly recommend, was expecting to wait at least a year or 2 for berries, they came produced in months!

These were recommended by a YouTube gardening channel I follow.Arrived in perfect condition. Moist and not moldy.Kept them in the fridge for a couple of days while I finished the raised bed.Started growing immediately on planting. All have green leaves now.I bought 15 of these and 15 of another variety. All look great.

I have bought 15 strawberries plants and got 17.I put them in water for 24 hours to wake up the roots, then plant them in pots inside under lights.2 weeks later nothing showed up. how long before anyone will show leaves or all of them are dead ? or sleeping ? under a heat pad with full light, never happened before !

Planted these outside a month and a half ago. I used organic potting soil and sand as suggested in a 70/30 blend. They look perfectly healthy but haven’t grown at all. So far we’ve only gotten two strawberries total from 7 plants and they’re very small. Tried fertilizing and still no change.

I purchased 5 bare roots but they sent 6. Unfortunately, 2 died. To be fair, we were having an unusual heat wave when my mailman delivered it. I forgot to track my delivery so the strawberry roots suffered in my metal mailbox for a few hours and 2 never recovered. But I am still happy with my purchase. The remaining plants are thriving.
