Faulty item
The product has stopped working and will not hold a charge so is now useless as it is. It is nearly two months that I have has it

Too bulky and not a good fit
The data available is excellent and I miss that level of analysis of my sleep on my replacement ring. But the fit and finish meant I could only wear it on my little finger and it was too bulky as well as sometimes slipping off. If it was a size or two bigger I’d have put up with the poor styling because the data is so good.

An unbranded lightweight ring with no size options
The media could not be loaded. This is an unbranded 'Health smart ring' with a model number of 'R3'.At the current price of £39.99, this is not going to break the bank - although there are cheaper models out there, this is still a good affordable introduction into the world of smart 'health' rings.Don't get me wrong, what you get is still fairly basic - with basic sensors and fairly inexpensive materials(*).The ring weighs only 5 grams (not 6.8g as stated in the user manual).* It's unclear as to what materials the ring is made from. The exterior is a yucky rose gold colour that looks plasticky, but the description refers to "premium materials like lightweight alluminium". Therefore it's fairly safe to assume it could be made from the same material 'like' your common fizzy drinks can.HOWEVER, the biggest drawback in commiting to the purchase of this ring is the uncertainty of what ring size you'll get.The description states: "Size Slection Before You Buy: Wearing the ring too tight or too loose can affect measurement accuracy. To ensure the best fit, check the instructions on detail page". But at the time of ordering, there is no size option to choose.Remember - too large or too small, makes the readings totally unreliable. The fact that there is no size selecting option when you order (or actual instructions on detail page) is baffling AND a big fail. Basically it's going to be pot-luck if the ring you receive will fit you! This process (or lack of) is simply not acceptable. But, if you do make it this far... and the ring fits.... Then you will need to download an app to enable pairing (via bluetooth) and accessing the data that your ring gathers. From here, you can see your blood pressure, blood oxygen, heart rate, step count, calories burnt, etc.You can also 'allegedly' sync this data with Apple's Health app - but not yet sure if or how this works when I tried as the readings from both apps remain different. One thing is for sure though, this ring does NOT have a "Remote control photography" feature, as stated in the title.

Okay for a cheap smart ring
I wanted this ring mainly for sleep tracking, as I find wearing a smart watch all night a bit cumbersome and uncomfortable. I hoped this ring would do the job, but although the tracking functions work reasonably well, the connectivity to the app on the phone is not consistent, and drops frequently. The other big downside is that there are no sizing options - this would fit a large hand quite well, but the ring is loose even on my thickest finger, and falls off while I am asleep! The ring is quite cheap in appearance - it certainly doesn't look like a gold ring!Overall, the ring does have novelty value, but is too awkward to use for me, and I have gone back to using my smart watch for fitness tracking.
