I primarily need this travel blanket for the long international flights. Sure, the airlines provide a blanket for those flights but it’s really nice to have one that is this soft and comfortable. I usually like to travel very light and was initially concerned about the blanket size. When I need it packed in a suitcase, I use one of my compression bags and this blanket packs nice and small. When I need access to the blanket I either use the hand luggage sleeve and slide it over my suitcase’s handle, or I clip it onto my backpack.The fabric has a velvety texture and you probably want to either shake it out or run it on an air cycle through the dryer to get rid of all the lint that’s left over from the production process. The stitching around the blanket (and the cover) is very good.This is a nice addition to my travel accessories.

I have so many "solid" travel pillows that are very comfortable BUT are a real pain in the fanny to figure out how and where to carry them. I often end up deciding NOT to take one simply because the silly things are bulky and hard to keep within a carry-on. That is unless you're just carrying the pillow. This travel set is very, very nice. When it arrived I immediately opened the nice self contained pillow case and blew up the pillow. I was apprehensive about a blow up at first, however, this one is extremely comfortable. The blanket, while not overly thick or "fluffy" is nice and cuddly too. I fly and take Amtrak at least every 6 weeks and unfortunately it often means I need a sleep pillow and blanket. Now I don't have to decide whether to have a blanket or pillow -- now I can have both. This is such a nice combination and the way it arrives, folded and self-contained ready to slip into your travel tote or backpack.
