Update: it turned out that the product was perfectly fine. What's not was the face wash. After I switched to a moderate face wash, the symptoms went away. And this lotion works so well in the winter. It helps to moisturize the skin without make it too oily (I don't wear foundation on top of it). The white cast is okay for regular Eastern Asian skin tone. I just bought a second bottle. ------------------------------------------------------------- I have been use PM lotion for months and it works very well. So I decided to try the AM lotion. At first, everything is good. The white cast on my Eastern Asian skin seems not bad. I didn't find it to be dry or oil. However, after 5 days, all off sudden, the skin around my eyes feels burning whenever I tried to apply moisturizer after face wash , even the PM lotion now becomes irritating. I didn't realized it was the AM lotion issue at first and changed other skincare routine. But none of them helped. Then I decided to see if the AM lotion is the decision factor ( I really hoped not). However, after a whole day without applying the AM lotion, the sting and burning goes away. Thanks god! It's not my skin problem. So unfortunately, this lotion is not for me . Though it's not so thick/oil/dry for normal skin, it can cause skin irritation.

As a man with damaged skin who’s enjoys the cold, sun, and dirt; this product has been a game changer. I used to use Kiehl’s, this product is much more affordable and it feels like it responds to my skin type better. The texture is not oily all. It’s a lightweight lotion, that’s quick to absorb - no shine, no sticky film. What really sold me is how comfortable my face feels hours later. The hyaluronic acid paired with the slow-release hydration keeps my skin fresh all day, even after a sweaty workout or playing hockey. My redness has subsided, and my skin barrier feels stable and less reactive. As for sun protection, I no longer need to worry about forgetting to put on sunscreen or getting caught outside in the sun, without sunscreen. The broad-spectrum SPF 50 gives protects without thinking about it. The tube itself is compact, maybe slightly too small for everyday home use, but it’s small enough to toss in my toiletry bag when I need to travel. Pressures in airplanes can cause issues with containers, so far I’ve had no issues with the cap leaking. Overall, it’s a solid product. I’ve been satisfied with each refill.

I always need hypoallergenic creams and makeups on my face as my skin is super-sensitive. I was happy to note the 2-in- 1 product includes both a face moisturizer AND a scentless sunscreen with 50spf. Anything to save time getting ready in the morning is a huge bonus to me, and CeraVe did just that: it saved me some getting-ready-time in the morning. I wasn't, however, crazy about the push-cap dispenser, which requires you to pump quite a few times, with a very tiny amount of product in my palm. However, it went on smoothly, completely scentless and without a trace of chemicals that I normally smell immediately as it comes out. But what I liked most about CeraVe's moisturizer/sunscreen was how quickly it absorbed into my skin. Again, a time saver, so you don't have to wait a few minutes before applying foundation or blush. Once I applied my foundation, it stayed put the same way it does without any creams or sunscreen. It's hard to say how long it lasts, as I don't take it off until bedtime, but even after all-day use, I've never gotten sunspots, melasma, freckles, or sunburn after being outside on my hour-long walks, which I am normally very subject to getting. All in all, I wanted a lightweight moisturizer with a high spf that protected my face and was time-efficient in its application. That is exactly what I got.

This is a great price for this product. I paid more for the 35spf at the store with a red bullseye. This is a wonderfully light but moisturizing lotion that keeps my skin feeling hydrated and fresh while also offering the essential sun protection.

I love the consistency of this product however it leaves a white cast on my face, I am not sure if its because it has SFP but if I use moderate it melts into my skin but too much will have my face looking white. Other from that it is good product and keeps me moisturized for at least 12 hours.

My daughter recommended this brand of skincare for me. What I had been using for the last 25 years priced themselves out of what I was willing to pay for. I love the CeraVe products, and I definitely seen improvement in my face. Less wrinkles, softer and smoother skin. I highly recommend this product.

Excellent facial moisturizer with a high SPF. Doesn’t leave a greasy/oily feeling when or after being applied. It does leave a white residue on your face after application but it goes away in a minute or two.
