Best protein powder for hair growth and hair health. I take it every morning with lemonade flavored hydrate powder in my water and it tastes amazing. I take this protein powder along with Nutrafol Women’s Hair Growth Supplement. The powder is unflavored and doesn’t have much of a taste. If you take it without a flavored hydrate powder packet, it has a little taste. I didn’t like the little taste of left behind and recommend using a hydrate powder packet with it. You can also use crystal light powder packets. I do one small scoop every day and it gives me the protein, biotin, collagen and hair vitamins I need to feel fuller longer, grow my hair and keep my hair healthy. It says that it only provides 16 scoops in all, but that’s not true. The bottle lasted me over 3 months! With many hair products it does take time to see results and you typically have to wait for at least 90 days to see significant results. You must be consistent in taking it every day. For some individuals it can take up to a year to see results. Studies have shown biotin to be effective but there’s a downside, it may take over a year to see it’s benefits. Be patient with your hair growth journey because it takes time for your hair to adjust to new routines. I love it and my hair has grown so much longer. It feels healthier too! Definitely recommend!

I started using Vital Proteins because it is 3rd party tested, manufactured in the US and carry the NSF Certified for Sport certification. Enough validation for me to trust the brand, but more importantly, both my husband and I noticed the difference in our bodies in just a month after using it on a daily basis. My muscles were very week, I couldn't work out more than 10 minutes because my legs didn't respond, and I had no energy. The Collagen Peptide Advance changed my live 100%, I develop muscle, could work out for an hour and even lift weight and energy wise... I went back 30 years. I started using the Collagen Peptide Advance which is the one my husband still takes but I switch to the hair complex because my hair is falling and I wanted to try. So far so good. My hair is still falling but I am getting new hair as well, so I'll give it some time because these things take time to see results. I am confident that it will do the miracle as the other one. If you are reading this review to buy the product, do not hesitate. But be patient, take it consistently for a few months and you'll see the difference.

I started Vital Proteins years ago. The Advanced one. It worked great on my joints and nails. My skin felt more vibrant. I had issues with food allergies about 2 years ago and I had to stop using it just in case that was the problem. I reintroduced it into my diet slowly and figured out I could still use it!! The time I was off of it, my nails became softer, my joints ached and my skin was dull. Thought I’d take a chance on the Hair Complex since after turning 60 my hair was thinning and shedding a little. I have to say I’m impressed. My hair is growing faster, a little less shedding, skin looks better and it’s done wonders for my nails! I drink 2-3 cups of coffee a day and add it. Tasteless, dissolves nicely and I look forward to it! I don’t understand the reviews about the bad taste and mixing problems? Give it a try!

I have been using this product for months faithfully. I feel that it is working, but I have gotten 2 canisters that have a different consistency, don't mix easily and become clumpy and taste really "sour" (awful)! I normally feel it has no taste and mixes well with my coffee. I'm confused as to why I have had issues with 2 more recent deliveries. It's too expensive to have this happen. Normally I would give 5 stars, but I am getting discouraged with this happening on 2 separate occasions.

Actually works to help hair growth!

It doesn’t mix well at all and ends up in slimy clumps at the bottom of the glass. It also sticks to the side as you're drinking so at the end you’re trying to scrape out as much as you can but you’re still left with less than a full serving, which is 3 LARGE SCOOPS. It’s too expensive considering it’s only a 2 week supply and it doesn’t mix well enough for full consumption of the product.

When I ordered this Vital Proteins product I knew about the powder being hard to blend in liquid. As other reviewers said it is hard to blend. What I end up with is a lot of lumps. I blend this in Boost. I just drink the mixture lumps and all. The Boost is chocolate flavored so lumps and all, easy enough to drink. As for the claims that it will thicken your hair, I think this has. I am on my 3rd order, I will say I am noticing my hair is thicker and fuller. I had been a devotee of the Vital Proteins product using the collagen peptides product for a couple of years. This Hair Complex also has the same Collagen Peptides as part of the product. That is important to me. The amount of this hair complex is way less, so it will be more expensive than the other Vital Proteins. I am happy with how my hair has responded, so I will continue using it. Just know it will take a few months to see the Benifits of Better Hair
