Really well made, nice materials, stays skinny in pocket
Great wallet. I owned another Big Skinny wallet and after 7 years of daily abuse it was finally getting a little threadbare (though I could easily have continued to use it despite its beginning to look in rough shape). So I knew I'd get another product from this excellent company.I really like the form factor of my new wallet. Because of the position of the card holders it's impossible for any cards to fall out. The wallet is large in area (fills up pocket) but because of its design it's very slim in thickness. It looks great, the leather seems to be of good quality like my old one. And the price is very reasonable given the quality and longevity I predict I'll get out of it. Very happy!I should note that others have noted that they changed the interior pockets from what is seen in the photos and that's true. The left-most pocket is basically a piece of elastic fabric different from the other pockets. I'm kind of neutral on whether I like this or not. Durability of this elastic sounds like a problem for others; in about a month's time I haven't seen a problem yet.

Have been using for several months
Wallet has held up well over the several months I have had it. It also looks rather nice. It holds a lot without becoming very thick. I would not recommend this wallet to a person who typically wears pants that don't have a large rear pocket. For example if you are wearing like wrangler or Levi jeans, the wallet easily fits in the back pocket. It also fits in most of my dress pants pockets. But if you wear a bunch of sweat pants, gym shorts, skinny jeans, etc, this may not be the right wallet for you. Be aware that because it is larger and thinner in a way if could be more easy to pickpocket, but you can mitigate this by wearing a shirt with a tail long enought to go over the top of the rear pocket.

Best Big Skinny (for me)
Pros:Thin even by thin standardsBulk is evenly dispersedNatural flex point in middle makes it even more comfortable despite it slightly wider format5 card pockets in 4 different formats add flexibilityCons:Big Skinny logo - Although understated and mostly unseen, I think the name looks & sounds cheapCurrency Pocket is deeper than needed but BS was able to ingeniously make the extra length of the side by side card format usableI previously owned the leather and non leather versions of the Big Skinny Bi fold and wanted something new. I like this better. The cards stay put better and it does not bulk up in the middle. (Big Skinny bulk is still thin.) I also tried the BS Hipster and did not like that design. This has four different types of card holders. The clear ID holder, a couple standard pockets, one with an elastic material and another 'secret' separate pocket behind the clear ID pocket, very flexible and all secureI tried the Vaultskin Manhattan and the Bellroy Hide and Seek. Both of these were much thicker and not for me. Once you go Big Skinny I think it is tough to try these other brands. They may be thin by conventional standards, but not by BS standards

My last one lasted 12 years!
I really love my Big Skinny wallet. I purchased my last one in 2012. I love how it divides the cards up so that it's not so thick. I did check out the Big Skinny hipster wallet which is similar, but because the card slots are taller, the overall wallet is bigger than this one.My old wallet had torn a bit at the bend. It has been getting a bit worse over the years, but I finally decided to replace it. It was still completely usable. The only thing I don't like about the new one is they've replaced the regular pocket with an elastic band. If you put too many cards in the band, it sticks out a bit. I've had cards fall out of the last pocket before (the one that's now been replaced with the elastic band) when opening the wallet up before, so it's a less than elegant solution to that problem. We'll see how long the elastic band lasts. On the left is my original Big Skinny circa 2012. On the right is the brand new one. You can see where the leather has worn and torn, but honestly, the old one is in amazing condition considering the age.

Great wallet without the bulk
I have been buying these for my husband for several years after a recommendation from a friend. My husband loves the credit card holders because they are longitudinal to the wallet vs horizontal as he had a fear of his cards falling out. He doesn’t worry about that with this wallet. It’s also very thin an doesn’t bug him when it’s in his pocket

I love these wallets!!
The Big Skinny wallets are one of the original designs on a thin wallet. I've owned several of them over the years and replace it about once a year just to keep it looking brand new. I have gotten some other so called thin wallets as a promotional item, but they don't even come close to the Big Skinny wallet. The wallet holds several credit cards, health insurance card, Medicare card and driver's license with a clear window. The cash pockets have a separator in between which I won't buy a wallet without one. It's convenient to be able to separate my bills and put larger bills in the second pockets. The first pocket I use for any other appointment cards, business cards, and smaller bills. The leather is very good quality and will last several years. I just seem to be hard on a wallet and simply choose to replace mine before it's actually worn out. When I have it in my back pocket, I can barely tell I have my wallet with me even when sitting. Having a thick wallet can give you back pain due to forcing you to sit sideways plus puts pressure on your hip area. The Big Skinny wallets are value priced for the product you get, and you will not be disappointed.
