Great hose, so easy to fit and simply to use

My wife was always complaining about my hose laying around in the garden so this looked like a great option. Initially I was very happy with the hose and so was my wife who liked it looking tidy between use. I used it for 2 months last summer and then put it away in the shed so it was not left out in the elements. I got it out again the second week in June this year used it twice and it split and started leaking. So all in all I had just over 2 months use out of the hose before I had to throw it away. Luckily I kept my old hose that I have had for 20 plus years and have brought that back into use. Don't waste your money.

This is the second of the newer expanding hoses I have bought, as I wanted it for a very specific reason! Our existing hose expands up to 50 feet in length, but I discovered this was just not quite long enough to run from the hot tap in our kitchen to our temporary ‘lockdown pool’ in the garden without risking breaking anything in the way as the hose was at full stretch.So, I looked for something similar to our 50 foot version but that would be able to do the run from the kitchen to the pool with ease. This is the same look, style and colour as the first hose but expands to twice the length and covers the distance very easily - so I can run it along the floor and away from anything breakable. The connectors supplied with the hose allow me to screw one end onto our kitchen sink taps (I just pop the tap out and screw the hose to the main body of the housing) without any concerns about leaks or water dropping on the floors. Now, when the pool needs a top-up every few weeks I can just connect everything up in less than a minute, run the hose out to pool and run hot water directly from our boiler into the pool with minimal effort!

Great purchase good price

Had a shorter green hose last year and whilst I've normally gone for solid hoses before that the ease of use of the expanding hoses meant I wanted to get one that should stretch to the end of my garden.It does work and it is easier to out away after use than the hard hoses. I should have realised that quality would be compromised with the price, even though possible to buy on the daily deals!The fittings work, but aren't brass and is better left attached to the garden tap if you want it it to last the season. Mine has been attached for a few weeks now and is already leaking. The hose end has a good range of jets but mine broke within a couple of uses with the plastic threads stripping on the knurled adjustment.Don't expect to get the advertised length in use either as without good water pressure it won't be forced longer and every time you water it reduces in length.If I get the season out of it, the purchase was probably worthwhile given the price. Fingers and toes crossed.

Had this all summer pulled and tuged it all over garden no problem at all.pressure very impressed at full extent coiled up and put away for next year great product 👍
