Firestone 2097 Level Command™ Heavy Duty Air Compressor System

On the market and some not so great (too small) but this HD unit works perfectly in my application. It airs up my rear air bags and holds the weight of the load. the in cab gauge and switch look great in the place I chose to put them. I have recommended Firestone products in the past and will continue to do so with this unit. Update, the compressor worked great for about 2 years then the truck sat for about 6 months and went back out to air up my bags and kept popping the fuse to the compressor and check the compressor and the compressor ended up being frozen up now it's in a dry location so water isn't an issue. I'm not sure what course of action to take at this point other than disassembling it and seeing way it's frozen up

Not the easiest install doing it like I did, but the kit is great. Wired it to the 25 amp yellow aux 1 switch and mounted the pump in the rear right under seat box. From there the hoses pass through a pre-existing passthrough hole in the middle of the back just under the seat backs. Pump is very quiet as installed.. :-)

I bought this thinking it was heavy duty since I needed 100psi however it wouldn't go above 80psi and then just stopped working all together after 4 months I used it total of 5 times. piece of junk ... Firestone used to be supreme at this stuff ... not anymore Called to find out about the manufacturer warranty got two phone numbers and no one called me back the phone numbers direct you to a voice mail and a website to fill out warranty information and they tell you someone will get back to you... Don't hold your breath .... so I went to Allstate warranty protection and tried to put a claim in with them and they tell you they cant because it is still under manufacturers warranty to call the manufacturer LOL ALLL A BIG MONEY SCAM these warranties by amazon are what a friggin joke. now I am out $350 with airs suspension I cant run unless I buy a new compressor... really who has a few hundred every 5 months to throw away.

Easy to install and works great! Surpassed my old system installed at dealership 10+ years ago at a hefty price. This was money well spent and DYI.

Still have a problem with system leaking pressure.

Great price. Very easy install. Only thing that was a bit difficult was getting the power through the firewall to the battery. Everything else was very straight forward for someone who is handy. Great product!

Works as advertised. I would have given it 5 stars, but the control panel is designed to only mount under the dash and the F250 does not have an area under the dash to mount components. Had to make a bracket to face mount to the lower trim panel.

We use our truck in at least 3 different load configurations. Empty. Slide in camper ( 1500 # ) and 5th wheel (12000 # ). Empty we use 10 psi. Slide in we use 25 psi. 5th wheel we use 35 -40 psi . Sit in the truck and increase or decrease psi. Perfect.

I pull a 32 foot RBC with my Toyota Tundra This air bag and compressor kit makes all the difference in the world. I’m not mechanical inclined but had no problem installing the kit by myself. It took about 5 hours. A Saturday afternoon well spent.

Was a very well packaged kit. Had everything needed. I already had airbags installed so was pretty easy to add this on. Makes towing a breeze.
