pH EC TDS Continuous Monitor pH ORP Meter for Home Grower

I have a few Rise Garden hydroponic systems. Anyone that is serious about hydroponics knows water quality (pH, PPM, etc.) is super important. In the past I tested my water three times a week with a handheld tester. After seeing this gem on Amazon, I thought I would give it a try. What a time saver this is. Super easy to install in minutes. I tested it against my handheld system and its nearly spot on. I do recommend a monthly calibration / check.

Worked well for a month. Then it refused to calibrate. Because the pH on the meter was over 9.0, it calibrated to 10.0, which it isn't supposed to do. Only 7.0 and 4.0. Bought pH test solution of 10.0. It "calibrated" 10.0, but still refused to calibrate 7.0 or 4.0. Readings remain over 9.0, even though fresh test strip indicate 7.8. Confirmed by local pool store's computerized equipment.

Product works. Great for checking real time readings on phone, however the graphs in the app are just flat out wrong or don't record a reading for well over 50% of the data points.The power cord is extremely touchy. Any touch where the power cord plugs into the unit and it temporarily loses power.

Strawberries are so picky about their water and nutrients needing pH and EC monitoring. I wanted a system to provide the information to my Apple cell anytime any where I am. This product is great! Instruction manual and supplies made it easy to calibrate the pH and they already calibrated the other parameters. There’s directions on how to calibrate them if you want. Maintenance is shared in the manual on cleaning the probe when it is used continuously. The app is easy to install and use. The screen shot shows me the strawberries are at the right ph and EC and ppm shows me the nutrient level is fine. I have peace of mind that I have done everything to help the strawberries to grow and produce in due time. And I see them growing with no issues so far. Thanks for an affordable easy to use system.

Exactly what I needed and works well

I really wanted to like these, the fact I can add it to my Tuya app for notifications was the main reason I purchased one. However, my unit would not take a reading, jumped all over the place, and would nto calibrate. I own several other pH and water measurement tools, so this is not my first unit. I already owned the calibration suspensions, but I used their just in case it was needed. No matter what I tried, I watched online videos and read the instructions several times.I might buy another and give it another try, I really like the idea of this product, but if it does not work the features will not cover the failure for the device to perform. Maybe the 2nd times the charm?

Regarding graphics - the 1980s called and they want their graphics back - awful and useless.Measurements were accurate (and verified and repeatable) for about 10 days then the pH started to drift. After a few more days pH was wildly fluctuating. After a few more days the TDS started to deviate from other meters.Cleaning and calibration do not correct the problems.Total disappointment!After it initially functioned (albeit with useless graphics) I threw the box away. Otherwise I’d return it. Junk.
