I ordered this to have a karaoke party at my house for my birthday. The first one that came was not working so I got a replacement and it worked great. The microphones have different setting effects and I love the little party light ball.

That being said, I purchased it for my grandson and will give it to him for his birthday (6 year) in April. So unfortunately, I won't be able to review the "gratitude" level of the experience ... by him, OR his parents :) until next year. Oh... you bet I can't wait to do that too...For now, I am going to review the quality of the machine, the feel, the sound, etc. but I won't be singing in it... not even alone.First Things First: I have made a personal decision to knock off 1 full star on all of my ratings when a manufacturer decides to go CHEAP and not include a power block with their product. They happily include a USB Micro or USB Type C cable for you but they inform you that YOU will need to provide your own means to plug this device into a wall outlet. I'm sorry... that is just being CHEAP, and me... old Texian... well, I'm gunna call you out on it. BAM... -1Now for the meat... this product came packaged Very Nicely. Good packing, secure, nice box, just the things that you don't often see these day. The box is so nice that it will be awesome under the gift warp. Oh... all of the verbiage on the box is relevant, correctly spelled, and grammatically correct.After finding a power block (the wife's side of the bed... she won't know till later) and plugging the box in to charge, I gave it a whirl. The disco ball is cute…. Lets just get that out of the way now. Whatever… The knobs are smooth and well placed. The box responded to the music but I didn’t try to download any Karaoke music… I’ll let the kids do that so they don’t miss out on any of the fun. I did use a USB stick with some songs on it to listen to the music. It sounded better than I thought it would to be honest. The Mic has various levels to allow you to over-sing or under-sing along with the music. All features that I tried worked very nicely and I have to be honest… It’s kinda cute.I will definitely edit this review next spring because I think it is important to see how a youngster enjoys and/or hates something like this. Oh… the reason I got this was because this kid SINGS ALL DAY LONG. Now mind you… it’s gawdawful but… he just loves music. I introduced him to my favorites.. Ozzy, Aerosmith, Rush, etc. just to get a foothold in his brain and … it stuck. So I truly believe it will be something he will play with. Look for the follow up soon.The only drawback that I’ve found is that the Handle Strap and Mic Straps are … cheap. If the box had been made wider to accommodate two holes at the top to drop the mics into, THAT would have been perfect. I won’t drop any stars for that because it is exactly as it was advertised… but if they had ASKED ME… I would have told them ahead of production.For now.. It sure looks, feels, sounds… well worth it.

I ordered a different machine originally that was bigger and also had a disco ball (karaoking) but it was rattling on the inside and wouldn't work off charger after charging. However this one is working good and sounds even better than the one with the larger speaker. I removed a star because the microphones don't get very loud. They do work but when music is up they are kind of low. They do look nice and are wireless so that's a plus. Just wish they could go up in volume more!

I had a cheaper Karaoke machine, and it never got used because it was cumbersome and did not have good sound quality.So glad we didn't give up on Karaoke and tried a better quality unit. This thing rocks!Setup was super easy. First you turn it on, and select an input mode. You can pair bluetooth with a phone or other, use a memory card, use the included input cables, or even use the FM radio. The unit has a built in FM antenna. By this time, you are already rocking and should hear music. Controls are very easy (dials for music volume, sound volume, pause, play, etc.). Then, you can turn on the lights if desired. You can pick from no light, disco ball only, front light only, or all on. Last, you can turn on the mics and sing.The mics work well, and you can even add a cool echo effect to your voice. Love that they are wireless. When not in use, they snap to the side of the unit. The unit recharges via USB-C, so this really is a portable party.Even if you are not using it for Karaoke, this unit makes a great bluetooth speaker with lights. The easy portability makes it easy to throw in the car and take to a friends house.The speakers are actually quite good. I have a big back yard, and can easily fill the yard with sound (or my beautiful singing... yah right). The sound is not "tinny". It has a decent amount of kick/bass to it. I put it under our trampoline at night, and with the wireless mics - makes for a fun bouncing dance Karaoke event. Man... I wish I had this stuff when I was young.Highly recommend!
