Robust, safe 6 Gang
I bought one of these about three months ago. I wanted to organise the power in my garage and this looked to fit the bill above my workbench. It means I've enough sockets to leave my shop vac plugged in and switch it on/off at the point (the vac is under the bench), leave other 'big tools' plugged in and still have a couple of spares for a drill/ circular saw/ charging batteries etc. It's really solidly made, I like the LED inidicator to say which are switched on, they've thoughtfully included a spare plug if you needed to shorten the cable or poke it through a hole that necessitated removal of the original and also the necessary wall-mounting screws. I liked that a small cover could be removed to swap the cable (I needed something a lot longer) and while it had notched security screws, there wasn't any issue taking them out and making a tidy job of things. All in, I'd happily buy more of these for use around the house as I know I'm getting something that's well produced and will be reliable for a long time. There's no surge protection, so if you've sensitive computer equipment etc it may not be the best option, but for anything that isn't like that; these are a great choice.

Awesome 6 gang Extension Lead
Product turned up in the usual timely manner with Amazon Prime. It was bought to replace an extension lead so old that it had not only yellowed with age, but had also become brittle. So badly in fact that the whole reason for buying it was that I came perilously close to a major electric shock when I tried to insert a plug into my old one, only for the plug to go straight through the plastic and my fingers were MM away from the bare copper plates inside ! This extension feels far more rigid and solidly built with no lateral flexion/twistability that you can sometimes get on cheap alternatives, with the extra bonus that they supply you with an extra plug so that you can shorten the lead for those instances where you want to run the shortest lead possible to keep it tidy, or to run it along an exact length as required. The fixed cable looks to be of decent quality being substantially thicker than my El-chapo Happy Shopper one previously used too. On top of that they throw in 4 extra fuses of various values (3A/5A/10A/13A) and two screws to facilitate fixing the main block to wherever you want if that's your preference. I love the fact that each individual socket on the strip is switched so I don't necessarily need to unplug a device to cycle its power IE: to reboot my router which isn't the easiest to get to. Overall it's a sound investment IMO and I wouldn't hesitate to both recommend or to purchase other items with this brand name. Having looked around my home I have found 3 more extension leads that I'll definitely be replacing at some point soon, though not all instances will require the 6 gang. Don't do as I did and just turn a blind eye to old tired cheap extension leads as you never know when you're going to unplug something from it and find that it's lost it's structural capabilities.

FIRST CLASS PRODUCT
This extn. sockect, and the 3 gang variation which I also bought, is of a very impressive quality. It is sturdy and the switches have an easy, but positive feel when operated. The individual 'switch on' indicators are very clear. Wall mounting (if desired) is simple and strong. Screws (provided) are inserted from the faceplate via holes that have blanking plugs (easily knocked out from the rear with a suitable narrow tool of some sort). Four separate value fuses (for appliances, if needed) are included. Top marks !!!

Pricey but good
A little overpriced for what it is I feel, but still a decently made product that is worth a little extra outlay compared to some of the nasty cheap garbage extension leads that are being sold. Spacing between the sockets is just generous enough to accommodate most types of plugs (some transformer units can partially block the switches) and the socket fit is a tad on the tight side but not too bad. It has an unusual wall fixing method, having two front to back screw holes revealed by pushing out a cover cap from the back. A great idea, but one not fully perfected. Firstly the wall plugs provided are terrible, and secondly the screws provided are barely big enough to get through to the wall for a solid fixing (worth noting, as mentioned the socket fir is a little tight so pulling on the plug requires a good solid wall fixing). If you upgrade to longer screws as I did, you need to keep them as skinny as the ones provided as larger gauge screws will not fit. The screw angle is most curious too, requiring an angled drill hole into the wall which is odd. And as for the caps, well don't be tempted to cover the screws with them after installation as there is no easy way to get them out again should you wish to remove the unit later on. Fortunately the screws are well recessed and not unsightly, and the fixing process is easily resolved with longer screws and better wall plugs. Overall, despite it's idiosyncrasies, I'm happy with the purchase and have bought another. It's a shame the seller doesn't provide this in a wider choice of lead lengths and with surge protection too.

Excellent design
Purchased in Amazon Prime sale. Seems well made and I particularly like that switches are above sockets, this has two advantages, firstly that it is easy to switch each socket on and off and secondly as switch is above rather than at the side of each socket it means the unit is much smaller. I purchased a six gang switched socket to replace a conventional 4 way switched socket and they are identical in size so new unit takes up no more wall space. Also a nice touch that as unit has a fitted moulded 3 pin plug it comes with a spare plug and fuses so that if like me you want to shorten the 2m cable you can easily do so. (Liked the design so much I have since purchased a 5 gang power switch to replace an old conventional lead in the garage.)
