What did I ever do without my Chillow! Keeps me Cool, COOL at night during those personal summers that set me on fire. I'm A hot flash Queen!

Ripoff! This looks like a gel pac. I entered gel pac pillow. In it's extensive description I did not see any mention of filling it with water. Only when it arrived and I saw the fill port/plug did I realize what it was! It SMELLS horrible. I did order a different GEL PAC at the same time so he would have 2 and he could decide which one he liked and have an option or a backup. The other one is exactly what I was anticipating. When I tried to send this back, it is going to cost $6. Why bother! DO NOT GET THIS IF YOU WANT A GEL PAC! I can just see the plug coming undone during the middle of the night and water running all over. It seems like it would be messy. It will not stay as cold as long as a gel pac would, I use gel pacs for my back. The manufactures of this should be ashamed of themselves. They should call it a WATER MAT!!!

I threw out my old Chillow that had served me well for 5-6 years since it no longer worked when I filled with water. I thought this new one would provide comfort for my hot-head when I sleep for another 5 years but it's not working like the old one. I knew what to do and filled with exactly 7 cups of hot water and let it sit overnight. The next morning I squeezed the air out but the water had not absorbed like it should. Instead, I now have a "water sack" which partly does the job or I would have returned it. I can't say I would recommend this anymore and it feels like a mini waterbed instead of the shrunken cooling sack that my old one was like.

This does not stay cold after being in the refrig for even 15 minutes. Then it feels more like a heat pack. Dont buy it.

Love this product. Does self cool to a point, not as big as I was expecting. Gets super cold in the fridge, doesn't vacuum seal like in the picture in the directions.

I have nerve issues that make my lower legs and feet hot, I use this at the foot of my bed. I have been using this for years it is not like a gel pack that must be warmed or cooled first. This is always cool no need to refresh with a new cool pack, this last 24/7

I have been using a Chillow in my pillow for the past 20 years - I can't live without it! I know what a quality product it used to be. I want the quality product back... I typically get about 2 years out of it before the plastic cracks and leaks. The foam that is the heart of this product has been cut down so much that the Chillow is simply full of water and the foam is bunched up in one end - I can't get it to spread out. The picture on the right is the Chillow I've been using for the past 2.5 years w/duct tape on the end that leaks. I use it for my feet. I used to tell everyone what a wonderful product this is but I am sorely disappointed and will not in the future.
