COLOMBIAN BREW COFFEE Arabica French Press Dark Roast Strong, 250g

Purchased the coffee multiple from Amazon. The product itself is good and Amazon's delivery is always on time hassle free

I was buying two packets of Colombian Brew Coffee every 40 days during 2020. The packaging and flavour was excellent and I could get a strong brew with good "body" if brewing was done for 10 minutes at least. The latest consignment bought in Aug'20 is unfortunately not upto mark. The brew is not strong enough, the taste is insipid and the colour is not dark enough. I need to add 50% more coffee and let it brew for 30 mins to get similar taste and flavour. If the 2nd packet of this consignment is similar then I may stop buying Colombian Brew Coffee altogether.

Coffee aroma is amazing, as well strong. perfectly grounded for French press. Roasting done perfectly.

I ordered this coffee ground to make french press black coffee. I found the flavour just okay, neither great nor bad. The coffee ground is too fine to be used in a french press. Maybe it will work better for coffee machines. Quality of coffee is okay.

Good Morning! I am writing this review at 7:00am; which means I have just had the first cup of coffee for the day. Like many other things, coffee is an acquired taste, especially if you are having it without milk. I don’t remember if I was in my senses when I purchased this coffee; but going by my experience today, I must have been out of my mind when I chose this coffee over Blue Tokai’s dark roast (which is my staple). Maybe I was attracted by the lower price, though that itself should have been an indicator enough for the impending disaster that my morning coffee was today. Honestly, the taste of this coffee was so off the mark, I dont even know if this is real coffee to begin with. Apart from the obvious fact that this coffee was roasted and ground eons before it came to my doorstep as compared to BT’s French Roast, which is never more than 2 days old; looming at the texture itself gave me the creeps. Still I gathered enough courage to put it in my French Press and essentially ruin my Sunday morning. What happened thereafter is every coffee lover’s nightmare and as far as that experience goes, the less said, the better. In summary, if you are addicted to good quality, freshly ground coffee, PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS MUD which can dissuade the most avid coffee lover ever from touching another cuppa.
