SK 27-Piece Allen Wrench Set, Metric/SAE/Star Hex Key Set, L-Shaped, S2 Steel

Might scuff em up on the handle a little just to make them more usable in moisture.

I don’t know how they will hold up , but I was so impressed with the ones I received I ordered the whole three set package to put in my toolbox.

Good, can be a bit slippery because of the smooth round chrome. Wish there was something to give you better grip

I saw these SK tools available for review in the Vine program and was a bit reluctant given the recent corporate sell-out and shift away from domestic production. My biggest gripe is the high cost of these tools for being made in China, when US Bondhus or even Taiwan made tools can be had for the same or less.Objectively, the tools are fine but no better than any other mainstream brand. I dislike the polished coating because It gets very slippery with even the slightest amount of grease or oil. Black oxide or Bondhus gold-guard keys handle oil and grease better. The fit of these keys is acceptable, and on par with most mainstream keys.The holders are actually really nice, and my favorite part of the set. I've debated even moving my Bondhus gold-guard into these and using the included storage tray in my tool box.Ultimately, I'm on the fence about these. They're good quality, but the value isn't there when the "gold standard" - Bondhus Gold Guard finish keys can be had for less. The only drawback is Bondhus does not make Torx/Star keys in Gold Finish, which I would have loved to see.

I use Allen wrenches all the time for bicycle maintenance and have other premium Allen wrenches, but these are definitely the most expensive. I almost didn’t order them due to the higher price point, but I’m glad I did. The S2 tool steel is very strong and the holder is well designed so it’s easier to take wrenches in or out. I also really like the chrome finish as I find that the wrenches stay much cleaner and grease or dirt comes right off. Finally, I didn’t have a set of Torx wrenches like this before, preferring screwdrivers instead, but I quickly found myself using these to work on my chainsaw and found having a full compact set to be very convenient.

The base of the Metric and SAE sets have balled typed ends allowing for use at up to a 25-degree angle.They're good wrenches that come in nice folded sets making them easy to store and carry without too much bulk. So, if you're looking for a complete set of Allen Wrenches, these are worth picking up.
