This set is basically a good starter pack for any fishing book bag. Everything you need for a good trip on or off shore !

Bought this set for my boyfriend and he loves it! Only thing though is he used the knife to cut up a hot pig that was roasting over a fire and the knife broke eventually. He said it was super sharp though and cut through the bone even so that’s a plus lol he didn’t get to use it on an actual fish though. Very good set nevertheless. Would recommend.

The kit is well packaged and arrived quickly. The fillet knife is very sharp and comes with a locking mechanism on the sheath. I think that’s a great idea and pretty much makes it impossible for a curious youngster to open. The sheath also a built in sharpener making it very convenient. Really like the fish gripper and easy to use. I’m sure it will save on wear and tear on my thumb. The kit also includes nice size pliers with case that can clip on to your belt or belt and a small pair of scissors. Looks like a very well thought out outfit and looking forward to using.

Everything in the kits pretty good quality except for the knife sharpener on the knife sheath do not use it unless your knife is extremely dull like needs a complete profile reshaping that you will have to redo when you get home
