This thing is almost too much fun !
I lost the ability to use my left leg earlier this year and was on crutches and using an I-walk knee, and then I was told it would be more time to heal and I decided to get one of these for a trip to the american west. I have been riding this thing around non-stop and its too much fun! Zips around in gear III and has enough power for my Big Boi frame, I'm 5'9" and 225 and this scoot hasnt once failed me or had issues after two full weeks of use and testing on all sorts of terrain and grades. Pros: Light weight if you got the strength to lift its 30lbs, folds nice, and fits in some tight spaces. battery life last! on mine, ive needed one charge in two weeks of daily use, for some reason it gains charge back while off , I'd say good quality battery. Comfortable enough, even though i did buy another seat, haven't used it. Cost for use is enough to justify its expense, I promise if your down in the dumps and want to have some fun being disabled , take this to a walmart lot or big parking lot and zip around.... its a hoot CONS: FOOT PEGS ARE TOO SMALL. they need to be about another four inches/101.36 mm long, to accommodate large hoof'd critters! Seat mechanism is great, but a bit annoying to move the scooter around as its not a lift point , even though its the highest point on the rear of the scooter, this isnt a deal breaker and you just got to remind yourself that the seat isnt a lift point. All in all this is a great mobility aid , and fun toy, I would recommend and even purchase again! Cheers to Topmate for creating a great little unit that I see going forward with some more engineering being one of the best mobility trikes on the market! CHEERS!

trike scooter for mobility
great skooter.it can tip over lean into the turn and SLOW down. saved me on my trip with a group vaca walking tour everywhere! i could jump off the scooter and my husband folded it up quickly stayed out of everyone's way unlike those 4 wheel clunkers that makes cruiser guests impatient and angry. it saved my trip. he walked it down escalators easily. you need to put it in 2nd or 3rd gear to climb a hill. otherwise i always left it in 1st gear as it will fly and run over people. on our cruise ship i could get in and out fast! if you are an elder without balance don't buy this. i have a knee injury so it was easy to use for me. my balance is good. never ran out of battery power and fit right in the big bus for tours and the trunk of rented cars did not miss beat In fact it was quite a talking point everywhere we went. no one had ever seen one. loved this tool for my 11 day trip. navigated airports, ship, tours, buses easily

Major improvements with the ES 35
I bought the ES32 last year and have generally liked the electric trike; it had major limitations, and I wrote about that in a prior product review! The company has responded and released this updated trike! I just received it in great shape within only 7-10 days after I ordered it! The unit is much improved, and the instructions (and online video) have improved greatly, esp. assembly of the seat! The noticeable improvements include a removable battery, which is a game changer as it allows gate checking and air travel now; the battery is the same as prior version (36 v 7.5-amp-hr) but is enclosed in a sleek removable chassis for charging either on the trike or off the trike (which is more convenient) and allows the option for carrying a second battery for increasing the range. A second improvement is a simple latch at the base of the trike to allow the collapsed trike to stay closed, which makes rolling it a lot easier as a "suitcase" for storage etc. The prior version had a dysfunctional latch option that worked poorly so I adapted a Velcro strap which was clumsy! This is aesthetically better! Finally, the seat is a bit larger and cushier and the mechanism to lower the seat is more robust and reliable (just works better!) I have not yet taken it for a ride but I am quite familiar with the ES 32 and I expect it to be exactly the same. Is there room for additional enhancements? Of course, The portable headlight provided is too large and awkward! There is no reason one can't be built-in! Also, the current digital display does not keep cumulative mileage and zeroes out each time the key is turned off. By the way, they provide 2 separate keys, one to lock and remove the battery and a separate one for the key start, could they make it the same key for convenience? They should create a mechanism so the brake can be set while stopped. Also, it would be great if they can offer several battery options: say one that is 15 amp hrs for extended range? Overall, the ES 35 is much better and travels well! Thanks, Topmate for responding to user complaints! Have been using the ES35 for several weeks now, performs as expected based on previous experience with ES32; the folding mechanism stays folded and is a major improvement! the removable battery is designed well (i bought a backup);

Good Scooter for the price.
I needed a mobility scooter and chose this one for its convenience. It is light enough for me to lift, relatively easy to set up, and small enough to keep in the trunk of my car. I weigh 180 and the scooter has no problem with uphill climbing on a paved surface. It is easy to control, and the battery charge lasts well. I would not recommend it to anyone with balance issues. It can be a bit tippy on a tight turn. This unit allows me to keep up with my family on outings and does not deplete my O2 levels.
